And the share price falls ever lower
You and me will not be too bothered that the share price has fallen 20% during the time we have been waiting for the Interim accounts. We are in it for the long game; no chance of us selling anyway is there?
As I suggested five weeks ago, the markets do not like it when companies deviate from normal reporting strategies without published reason. Share values tend to suffer.
What a good time it would be to invest the odd, or twenty, million.

Could there be anything in the suggestions that if Glazer wins his takeover bid for Man U Dermot Desmond's friends will be seeking pastures new? If so could this be a reason for our delayed interim results?

Hi Paul67 and all,
A good time indeed to be buying shares!,I see what you are getting at with certain people MAYBE investing lots of cash at this time of poor share trading prices, but wouldn't you agree that it has been the very same people or friends of.... that have been inducing the price of the shares to fall.Just as NegAnon has been pointing out for the better part of 6 months at least. So if these people or anyone who have links with them, wouldn't it make it some sort of insider trading if large amounts were aquired?I'm no money man but even I understand the basics of trading shares,I don't think they would do anything so dodgy, surely there wouldn't be any loopholes that I don't know about,(I have some Irish gypsie in me)can anyone bring light to the subject? There has to be a very good reason for this business,it may well be something big is happening or I'm just another paranoid Celtic supporter.
Keep up the good work Paul & All

The pointers are there Paul, let's hope you were right about the plans delaying the interims, looking positive. Did you get my emails regarding the IT people? Tony, Latvia

Hello everyone, the rain has dragged me inside and I've sought sanctuary from the kids here by the incredible slow pc. I call on the Magnificent Barry Ferguson to dry up all the rain. Sorry, slipped out..., Anyway a wee while ago you said Celtic are pregnant with a plan and that was why the interims were late. They could have come out the next day for any number of reasons and made you look a bit of a fool but you stuck to your guns, well done. To Easter egg anon from the last topic, please note that last bit. Anyway they are still not out. Methinks you know more than you let on...Its certainly good reading anyway. May I ask if the waters have broken yet? Now about the share price, are the slight fluctuations up and down not mainly due to only small amounts of shares being traded. If someone was going to buy in to the club would that have to be the price of new shares or if someone was selling them would it not just be up to what they wanted to charge. Perhaps we could consult the great Barry for answers. I'm sure the money spent by various relatives on my kids Easter eggs etc could have bought a fair chunk of the club. I'm wittering well so back out into the rain I will go. Actually I deserve to be soaked as I logged on to the daily retard site earlier. Didn't realise the mighty Barold was on the pitch himself on Saturday single handedly slaying the mighty Italian reserves, sorry that should have said hordes. Ciao for now.

LostRambling, I have been alluding to this for a wee while now.
Cabbage, I predicted the dip in share price as a result of the delay. People will see into this what ever they want, however, I am pretty sure that they delay is due to the plan being pulled together.
Remember, the board are not a homogenous unit, any tricky business would be spotted and exposed sooner or later.
The dominie, it has taken remarkably low trading volumes to bring the price down, a wee lesson there for future reference.
Have the waters broken? I remember well this conversation with Mrs 67, “We think the waters might have broken”. Only later did we find out that when the waters break there is absolutely no doubt about it. I suspect that delivery is close, get your wellies on.
I could have looked a bit foolish back in mid Feb. Them’s the risks. I keep a close eye on these guys and like to think I have a good feel for what they are planning.
Tony, thanks for the emails, I was out of the office most of last week & did not have time to follow up. Keen to pursue the matter. Will be on the case next week.

Hi all
I want to buy £300 worth of Celtic shares (£100 of shares each to my dad, brother and myself). Can anyone provide straightforward but full details on the best way to go about doing this. Can I do it all over the internet?
Thanks. Hail hail

I wonder if anyone could tell me how these Machiavellian figures, who it is alleged are waiting in the wings ready to seize control of the club, are going to suddenly increase their share holding ? Who are they going to buy these shares from? Certainly not from me or the thousands like me who are not interested in the price of the shares, but only in the success of the club. It's not likely that the 'big players' are going to sell them to one another, if indeed something positive is about to break. I may be a bit thick, but I simply don't understand how their can be any sort of takeover, given the way Fergus structured the shareholding. What am I missing?

Hi Paul Once again you seem to have your finger on the pulse, no wonder your considered, by some, to be a Trojan horse. Like most of you guys, when I bought my shares way back when 'The Great Bunnet McCann' arrived, It was purely for emotional reasons, and to help get the club out of the mire. When they increased their value 8 fold in the 90's most of us still held on to them for that reason. My point is Paul, that although I was a shareholder i didn't give a toss what their value was, as long as the team were playing well. So it is to your great credit, and your contributors, that over the last few months you have explained the intricacies of the clubs financies and how they are inextricably linked to the playing side. Keep up the good work as there are plenty of guys, like me, who require the education. Cheers Davie

Hi Paul, pretty new to this site, wish I'd found it years ago, brilliant. My question is this. You seem a pretty shrewd cookie, but I guess there are others who can read the signs as well as your good self. If there is something big imminent for the Tic would we not expect the share price to go up as other shrewd cookies buy shares in order to make a quick killing when the deal is done and the value of the Celtic shares rise?

The dip in the share price has nothing to do with the delay in publication of the interims.
You need to look at the trading patterns during the past 3 months and check the chart patterns compared with previous years.
