I don't think Bobo is as bad as some have painted recently and since this is a big game I believe he will be full of concentration (focused)today what I am unhappy about is AT back in the team.

Thompson's no worse than anybody else at the moment. Last week we couldn't cross a decent ball against Livi. Thompson has already made one chance that way.
No great comeback in sight at the moment Hearts look more likely to score with a young lad called Elliot causing us major problems.

how long must we put up with telfer at full back. where was he for the first goal!! think back to bratislava, ibrox for prso goal, hearts at celtic park and no doubt more. he's a liability and WGS must strengthen in the window if he's not going to play agathe. what a sitter stan missed at 0-0, game would be so different had that gone in. the truth is we are being bullied all over the pitch, its like watching a MON team wearing maroon. however i still think we will get chances and we must take them - although i dont think we can keep a clean sheet 2nd half and predict we will lose 3-2 with bobo sent off

First goal Naka lost possession deep in Hertz half, Telfer was caught out of position, Hertz broke down the left, Lennon was beaten for speed as the only cover for Telfer, good ball in and a good breakaway goal. Second goal McManus made a pathetic attempt at challenging for the cross and Pressley had an easy header home. Hertz have had two other clear chances and should have scored more.
Their goals came after a dreadful miss by Petrov after a great cross from Thomson. That was our only real chance of the half.
We do not have a goal threat up front so it is difficult to see where a goal will come from. Hertz are getting 10 men behind the ball every time we get it making it very difficult to find any space.
Would be good to see WGS making a change at HT - nothing to lose. Candidates for the hook would not be hard to find. If we can get one back the pattern of the game could change but at half time Hertz are well worth their two goal lead.

Game so far ... a complete contrast!
hertz defence looks untroubled whereas ours is looking ropey at best. WGS should now give Du Wei his chance - cant be any worse!
The midfield looks pretty even, although AT looks way off pace.
Up front - look pretty devoid of options, naka very quiet.
Hope for very much more 2nd half ....

Usual, pass the ball into the channels behind Celtic full backs especially Telfer.
Consequently drag CBs out of position chance for Hertz created time after time.
When is the Grand Master Tactician gonna spot this? No pace in centre midfield and at full back means no out ball no release from pressure. Hearts are doing the same thing all the time.
Put the ball into the channel behind Telfer/Wallace and chaos ensues.

So far nothing totally unexpected has happened. Hearts have continued with their excellent home form and we have struggled defensively as we have in recent weeks.
The frightening thing (apart from the defense) is the lack of options on the bench to change the game positively.
Whilst I believe the 2 goal deficit can be recovered, I have seeing how we will do this without conceding again.
(BTW is it just me. Every time i see Virgo on camera he seems to be eating or drinking. Perhaps no surprise he had to come off the park during the HT warmup for a pee)

Couldn't have asked for a worse start. Stan missed a free header in the first couple of minutes and then Hearts go up the park and score from an own goal.
Were not out of it yet, but there will need to be a massive improvement in all areas to turn this around.We'll learn plenty about Gordon and our team today, that's for sure.

He hasn't learned any lessons re Bobo and McManus, same dreadful mistakes and poor positional play from both. Lenny well out of it pace wise. Thommo apart from the cross in the first few minutes nada since.Not even tracking back.
We are not making any chances and if not for Boruc we could be 4 down by now.
Someone(maybe more) has a red card with their name on it and I just feel its Bobo. I'd take him off now and say have a good one in Africa.

We're chasing goals at the moment and Hartson is our most prolific striker, not advisable to take him off in my opinion.
