Re selection I noted that when Mowbray left out Riordan at Ibrox he acknowledged that he had great qualities but that defending wasn't one of them. So he set out to draw Rangers sting and then fielded Riordan when he could inflict damage. I wouldn't be surprised to see WGS do the same with Naka.

Derbyshirebhoy, on your comments about the Rangers game against Hibs. By all accounts, Rangers totallt dominated the first half and should've been a few goals up at half time. Wasn't so much a masterplan by Mowbray but more fortune.

Anyway, we're still good enough to beat them today, 3-1.

23mins gone. Rangers fans hstreaming to the exits (nah, only kidding).

Rangers corner kick. Boruc claims eventually.

Master tactician McLeish changing things around (just like all top managers do in Italy apparently).

    Buffel swapping wings.

Hartson in trouble for retaliation on the Greek. Too busy typing to see it. Oh, hang on, The Greek has cheated by diving as though hartson had tripped him. No contact whatsoever.

Rangers blow a golden chance for the equaliser. Telfer done for pace. Get Out Of Jail card now played.

Not being able to see the game is driving me nuts, so cheers for the updates MikeyBhoy.

Very nervous about sitting back from them and allowing them to play. Surely logic dictates that the further back we pin them the less likely they are to equalise - or are we letting them play in their own half only?

    Half Time: Rangers 0-1 Celtic

Good first half performance from the bhoys especially the first half hour. Rangers came back into the game in the last 15 without really creating too much of a goal threat. Big Eck obviously trying to get at us in the full-back areas - Burke giving Wilson a hard time but Wilson doing well. Lot's of space being found around Telfer who remains the weak link in our side.

Celtic are looking well organised and Rangers haven't a clue how to break us down. Hartson having a stormer up front as is Keane in midfield. Maloney and Magic are struggling a bit without Naka providing the usual ammo. Geat finish by Magic for the goal.

All in all a solid preformance and satisfying result so far. Would be good to get a second early to help us settle down again

Easily Telfer's best game of the season after giving the ball away twice in the first 3 and a half mins. His tackling has been excellent. Easy now derbyshirebhoy!

Wilson my MOM so far! Think he has looked assured in everything he does. Hope Pearo comes on at about 70 mins to run the final legs of the Rangers midfield.

Now can we make some more chances and just finish this lot off in the second half.

Great result - solid performance if not spectacular. Grinding out 1-0's at Ipox is not to be scoffed at.
Celtic fans not leaving - hardly a single Rangers fan left.

Good to be a Tim :)

    Hail Hail

21 points clear.Clean Sheet. If only we could play them every week.Le guen must be a certainty to take the job. Bound to be thinking how could I possibly not improve this lot? Oh and by the way Celtic are dreadful tactically inept and with a useless manager So what could possibly go wrong?
