Re selection I noted that when Mowbray left out Riordan at Ibrox he acknowledged that he had great qualities but that defending wasn't one of them. So he set out to draw Rangers sting and then fielded Riordan when he could inflict damage. I wouldn't be surprised to see WGS do the same with Naka.

Derbyshirebhoy, on your comments about the Rangers game against Hibs. By all accounts, Rangers totallt dominated the first half and should've been a few goals up at half time. Wasn't so much a masterplan by Mowbray but more fortune.

Anyway, we're still good enough to beat them today, 3-1.

23mins gone. Rangers fans hstreaming to the exits (nah, only kidding).

Zurawski fouled by Boab, oculdn;t match his pace. Free kick right hand side of park just inside the Rangers half. Big men going up front.

Again comes to nothing. Rangers in posession but good tracking back by maloney to prevent a rangers attack forming.

Cross comes in to Celtic box, but Boric takes comfortably again (Prso was stood in space, worringly)

Rangers atarting to enjoy a bit more posession now. More of an even game compared to the opening 20mins. Celtic having the better of the midfield battle (more numbers)

Keane is playing too far back - he needs to play at least 10 yards in front of Lennon.

Wilson is looking quite shakey, defence is consistent as usual.

We're allowing Rangers back into this game.
Conceding the midfield and allowing Burke and Novo to get time on the ball.
After a bright start wee Maloney not being brought into the flow.

Not just more numbers Mikey, we've better players in the midfield. Would you swap any of ours for theirs?

Rangers relying on the high cross in for Prso, but Boruc has coped well with the crosses.

Rangers have won only 4 of the last 20 games against Celtic. Celtic have won 13, with 3 draws (Steanta stats, not mine)

Terrible tacks from Hutton on McGeady. Studs up, but one footed. No card.

Celtic now happy to let Rangers play the ball unchallenged at the back. Must have been part of the game plan. Pack the midfield.

Rangers corner kick. Boruc claims eventually.

Master tactician McLeish changing things around (just like all top managers do in Italy apparently).

    Buffel swapping wings.

Hartson in trouble for retaliation on the Greek. Too busy typing to see it. Oh, hang on, The Greek has cheated by diving as though hartson had tripped him. No contact whatsoever.

Rangers blow a golden chance for the equaliser. Telfer done for pace. Get Out Of Jail card now played.

Hate it when we sit back....maybe its a plan, I dunno, but it just invites attacks and the inevitable goal.

We seem to be content to sit back and allow Rangers ossession, dangerous tactics as it gives them more confidence and we seem to have lost our momentum.

Keane geeing up the defence. Setanta say he is the calmest man on the pitch.

Poor kick from Boruc but Celtic end up with the throw.

Celtic keeping good posession again. Celtic attacking. Throw-on to Celtic by Rangers corner flag. All the way back to halfway line.

Maloney has. Free kick for fould on Zurawski. Just outside the box. Great position. SLightly to the left.

maloney lining up. Goes well over.

Corner Rangers. 42 mins gone. Neqarly met by Andrews at speed. Broken up by Keane.

Poor ball from Hartson to try and release Zurawski. POsession back to Rangers but Celtic have it back again. Game gone a bit scrappy

Not being able to see the game is driving me nuts, so cheers for the updates MikeyBhoy.

Very nervous about sitting back from them and allowing them to play. Surely logic dictates that the further back we pin them the less likely they are to equalise - or are we letting them play in their own half only?
