Scotland’s Champions League spot should crystallise this week

The Scottish champions stand to qualify automatically for next season’s Champions League if this year’s winners qualify automatically from their league.

On current league positions, it would therefore be of benefit the Scottish champions if Manchester United, Arsenal, Lyon, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Roma or Porto wins the trophy this year.

Chelsea, Milan, Sevilla, Fenerbahce, Olympiacos, Schalke and (alas) Celtic are not currently in automatic qualification spots.

This might be a parralel universe blog - where posters can insult each other using swear words - whilst Paul67 happily looks on, nodding approvingly - who's gonna be the first to try it and see?
