Celtic came from behind to win for the
second week in a row as they beat Motherwell 1-2 at Fir Park.
Motherwell will feel they deserved
something out of the game after enjoying most of the possession, territorial
advantage and chances. Celtic's league
challenge looked to be in trouble when Chris Porter put the home side ahead
after 62 minutes but Scott McDonald scored his 30th and Celtic's 100th
goal of the season 60 seconds later.
Giorgios Samaras completed the scoring
with 13 minutes remaining heading home direct from a corner kick.
Celtic have played much better than this
and dropped points, but they showed great resilience by digging out a win in a
game which looked to be drifting away from them.
The champions now have an eight point lead
at the top of the table; a marker that will ask questions of potential challengers.
