Off to Paradise 3-0 The Bhoys.

Big chance to get the momentum going again. at least we know the priorities now,

Celtic, Celtic thats the team for me,
Celtic, Celtic on to victory,
They're the finest team in Scotland, I'm sure you will agree,
We'll never give up till we've won the cup and the scottish football league

They come from bonnie Scotland, they come from county Cork,
They come from dear old Donegal and even from New York,
From every street in Glasgow they proudly make their way,
To a place called dear old paradise and this is what they say.

Celtic, Celtic thats the team for me,
Celtic, Celtic on to victory,
They're the finest team in Scotland, I'm sure you will agree,
We'll never give up till we've won the cup and the scottish football league.

There's Fallon, Young and Gemmel who proudly wear the green,
There's Clark, McNeill and Kennedy the best there;s ever been,
Jim Johnstone, Murdoch, Chalmers, John Divers and John Hughes,
And sixty thousand Celtic fans who proudly shout the news.

Celtic, Celtic thats the team for me,
Celtic, Celtic on to victory,
They're the finest team in Scotland, I'm sure you will agree,
We'll never give up till we've won the cup and the scottish football league.

mickybhoy

from previous post. Apologies I thought had replied at the time. I don't know a Jim McCallum. How old is he?

Shame about the Hearts not being paid news.

I had some moderate hopes for a draw today, I think I should revise that as teams worried about their pay don't often give of their best. Hope Hearts are an exception!

The main thing is that even a 1:0 today can be celebrated because it's 3 points.

I'm hoping for a clean sheet and a couple of first half strikes mind you.

3:0 for me

Should I sign off with hail hail or sig heil given that 2 posters have me involuntarily recruited to a Nazi outfit?

Hearts right up for it to-day. McCulloch kicking anything that moves, Whittaker lucky not to be of for an over the ball job. Looking good - now to stuff ICT.
Hail hail

From Fascist Fascist

This was the only post I could find that wouldn't have got me a language violation:

We re between a rock and a hard place. An owner who does not want to be here but cannot get rid of. A second time around affair manager who does not have the same housekeeping money as the first time but keeps spending it badly anyway. A manager who will not go with youth and who plays players who are well past sell by dates or who never had one anyway.

My friend we are done fur.

Gladly listen to suggestions that would improve that dont involve Murray going because as long as he is still here ambition and drive will be missing.

I'm not wanting to turn on the telly or radio.. What's happening?

Mostly RFC now - Boyd outjumps MacDonald but can't get over the ball - over from 6 yds

Seph
huns still 2-1 down
63 mins.

CelticSephiroth

its a game of free kick fae 40 yards punted intae the box and hoping for a scrambler... thats how the 3 previous goals came about.

2nd half diet huns are playing the better footy... but it:'s 50/50

A flavour of Fascist Fascist below:

2 - 1 still.

Hearts play some decent football. Kingston going off, shame, he's been their best player. A very decent footballer.

Also impressed with Zaliuskas.

Another wee taste:

this is brutal. im tempted to watch WWE instead at this rate

the huns manager has a face on him that wid strip paint

GIRUY ya boiler!

Thanks to all.

I don't want to switch on till it's over.

I can't keep up with them:

Yep, Chris Burke with the heart of a Panda. Bye Walter!

tbdJ

Hearts sitting back a little too much for my liking.

Weir's Elbow playing a part in this game, he is a thug.

72 mins - Novo replaces Darcheville

Game now being played in the Hearts half.

Weir getting involved in some afters - temperature starting to rise for mad last 15 mins methinks

I'm even more addicted to Foolish Foolish when they are getting beat than I am to CQN:

I think we will be totally out of this by Dundee Utd game, and I predict trouble for Walter by the Celtic game.

where did they get that away strip. Was the English FA having a fire sale. I keep expecting to see Kevin Keegan jog across the turf in his afro

wee chickito must be puking into his mic

wonder if david murrays bobbie will taste so good if the get beat today

Stupid tackle by Wallace, asking for Red, and duly delivered. 10 V 11 for last 15.

Hearts' Wallace red carded for a second yellow - challenge on Burke.

15 to go.

Wallace gets second yellow - off - deserved.

10 men Hearts for last 15 mins

LAUGH-AT-TEA
what a mug!

... n\mini hun sees red!
unbelievable. he got the ball!
BURK - 5.9!

Lee Wallace off for Hearts.
Looked harshish.

I see the old Burkey is back. Going for a diving gold at the olympics

Watched first half of mini huns v big huns, what about whittakers lunge setanta didnt say much about this??, I felt this was every bit as bad as artur's last week and he was nearly sent down for murder by the reaction.
havent watched any 2nd half but mcgregor kept them in it with a save just before half time.

Missing the game today wife is working and Iam stuck watching the youngest, I think Gordon wil start with the same team from midweek and we wil get a positive reaction from them, 4-0 the good ghuys.

Hail Hail

It's non stop laughs with the other side:

we are totally clueless, bereft of guile, confidence or imagination, we have no 'game plan' and lack even basic 'winning game' skills.....every ****ing away game we look like a bunch of guys that has just been intoduced to eachother.....and all this is compounded by Walter's continual ability to hand the initiative to the home team in the first half hour......its car crash tv at its worst, dire, depressing, shambolic, anaemic....unsurprising

RFC getting closer - it's coming I fear

Heart in mouth in Sydney at 1 a.m.
No doubt all over the world.
10 mins. reg. time.

the despicables are falling like flies now

FEEG-HES-HUN = the invisible man

10 to go

Is it just me, or is Scott Booth urging the Rankers to score?

Sorry lads - but I can't help myself:

Oh how the 'Barry bashers' are loving this eh?

Mendes has been equally as bad if not worse today.

Although i do agree, Ferguson has been terrible today, the whole team has no fight today.

macjay will settle for a draw.
Terrible lack of ambition,I know.
Much gesticulation from the hun end.
Why does that make me happy?

the fat non patriot hoofs it over fae 6 yards
you watching BURLEY!!!!

All RFC need to do is hit Lafferty but most of the service is slow and inaccurate

novo blatantly kicks the hearts keeper

just a little one says booth

Boyd (on 1 yellow) keeps making contact with his arms/elbows at every challenge - giving the Ref something to mull over

Novo customary, brain dead, niggly challenge on MacDonald

The lack of fixture congestion is depriving Rangers of match practice.

I blame the SFA myself !

Smith and "super" Ally, yes maybe you've a point macjay!
More than THEY got today..

it must have been their european hangover

Anybody feel like chipping a couple of quid towards the Hearts players' wages today? I know we're not fond of their fans but their players are mostly foreign.
Day set up nicely.

Afternoon chaps. Good result in Edinburgh.
Any team news from CP?

nice start to the day. Good home result today, clean sheet and a big roar for Kano.

Robson at left back never fills me with joy

Listening to radio scotland now, dodds saying they are missing key players, davis and miller, 2 players!!! give us a break we have went for weeks now with at least 4 guys missing at times and have managed full points, hunbelievable.

murdo Mcleod has just made same point!!!

hail hail

jeez, this Hearts manager never shuts up...but that's ok today

Good thanks.
Decent attacking team. Looking to consolidate this afternoon. Just finished nightshift this morning and got up to watch the other game. Bleary eyed but happy.
Hey Ho, Let's Go.

I love Czaba Lazlo's slalom-style approach to the English language - especially when the fact that he continues to use 'mit' instead of 'with'! A likeable guy.

As long as Robson's playing today, I don't mind, but left back isn't ideal. Still, let's hope the rest of the team can play with some style so that we don't need Barry's emergency dose of grit and determination.

when are we ever going to see ben hutchinson??

Great result and deserved by a lively Jambo team.

You could tell Lazlo enjoyed that. Hearts for 2nd place?!

C'mon Celtic - 7 points clear would feel good.

Just posted on Celtic's official site is the death of former Celt, Gil Heron, father of legendary jazz musician, Gil Scott-Heron. He played a year for Celtic in the fifties, scoring five goals.

Soooooperb!!! Come on now the Celtic!!!

Somebody said they dont like to see Robson at LB? I think he's our best option there,am I wrong?

It looks like we have a strong side capable of digging in to the opening battle, lets hope Sammy n Skippy hit form.

C.mon The Hoops!!!! pleeeeaaasssse!!!!!!

Can we have some more FF quotes please?

flying elvis

He's not yet showing enough in the reserves for me to warrant a place on the bech ahead of any who are there. He may get a chance when we're ten points clear in December:>)

Mornin all,

Excellent result from Tynecastle.

Sammy sporting a large polo neck today

Got to say I dont like Robson at left back, but against teams that will play 1 up front I dont think its a bad idea as he will get forward and support Maloney and possibly give us a front 3.
Robson is a good player in midfield and not so as a left back, he will give 100% wherever he plays.

Bradford Bhoy

It's hard to find any that would not get me a language violation....but for you I'll away and have a wee gander.

Scott Brown started brightly. Robson - not so much

The Walter Smith Doomsday Clock....

Timeframes in the Mind of a Fool…

Before the season started, and through no real fault of his own, yeah right…. Walter Smith found himself facing the chop, at least in the eyes of the bookmakers and support.
With a deep, resonating silence coming from the Ibrox boardroom, it seems the manager's days really are numbered. But exactly how numbered are they? Let's find out, with The Walter Smith Doomsday Clock.
In a grim echo of the historical measure of cold war friction (isn't it time to wind that one up again, by the way?) The Walter Smith Doomsday Clock gives a measure of the threat facing the SPL;s most downbeat head coach. When it reaches midnight, the axe will fall. And Dignity will sink.
On the first day of the season, the hands were set to 11 o'clock. After one game, let's see what the time is. The Walter Smith Doomsday Clock says: 11:10.Incredible…. Rangers won, and yet the clock has moved closer to midnight. A sign of this Generation’s continuing negativity.
Is this another indicator of the fickleness of football? Yes and no, but chiefly no. The reason Smith’s career at Ibrox is in the balance is that, like a soul in limbo, he seems doomed to repeat the same monotonous actions over and over Year after Year game after game. Week in week out.
The St Mirren match was against a profoundly Average team whose ambitions extend no further than Not to Be Relegation Fodder with dignity….

The Walter Smith Doomsday Clock Was Now at 11:30….

As Rangers Moved Into the Hearts Game The Clock Ticks Tic Toc Tic Toc…. The Walter Smith Doomsday Clock would have retreated. Instead, in a scenario that Rangers fans are wearily familiar with….Hearts Gub them and put the away side under pressure and made the whole afternoon a lot tenser for Away fans than it Could have been. ..16 games in and The Walter Smith Doomsday Clock says: 11:45 unprecedented in November.with no Eastern European time zone Available

No Captain no cards No panache, no killer instinct, no comfort. And so the hands of the clock move forward and Walter Smith lies awake at night, with the sound of Ticking filling the Darkness….Tic Toc Tic Toc…

15Mins To Goodnight Walter....

A wee selection from FF. Unfortunately the funniest are also the sweariest.

'Lazslo used basic tactics, because he knows how much of a dinosaur Smith is, just watch any of our games in the 18 months, and you can beat Smith'

'Will Walter do anything about it?

I honestly think that Lazslo has said EXACTLY what EVERY other Manager who's side come up against Rangers thinks.

Could Lazslo have done us a favour? I doubt it.. It will just make Smith more determined to play the long ball'.

'Nearly £27 million spent, and not able to beat teams like St Mirren'.

' could win next 3 OF games and struggle to finish ahead of hearts
Scary times '

'We have to deal with next summer's debts, then attract new money and ideas to the club, then turn a rebuilding process into a successful team....all takes time. This regime and its management team are going nowhere fast, and just prolonging our agony'.

'Even if we win all 3 remaining old firm matches, i have no confidence in this team and this management team being able to get wins (or even feckin draws) week in week out.

'We will not win the league again while Murray is at the helm, and gives Walter and Ally the chance to "shine"!'

'4 in a row for Celtic, sadly. The way our club is going, who's to say Celtic won't get 10?'

' rip rangers

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our once great club is no longer.

Sad sad day '

'Absent landlord
Manager losing it by the day
Family silver sold
No CL football
Staring down the barrell at 4 in a row
30M in debt and rising
Looking at two qualifiers for next years cl against far superiour opposition than this years superstars.
Fans slated from all angles.

Head in the sand pal'

'Totally agree!!!!!!!!!!

Not BECAUSE of todays perfornace but over the yrs we have had our very culture stripped from beneath us. Far to many mis management deals and no leadership at all has all but killed us of and primed for asset stripping RIP'

'Black ties & armbands at Ibrox all round !! Sad times for our club on all fronts.

The promise of so much after the uefa cup semi final and the dundee utd game before manchester seems a lifetime ago'.

'Either Walter goes, and takes his useless management team with him, or we the fans withdraw our financial support.

Sign here if you agree'.

'I agree with Smith going and the sooner better but why McCoist. Did he buy the players?, does he set the tactics?, does he pick the team.

McCoisy should be doing a Brutus and getting rid of Smith now before he totally destroys his chance of being manager of Rangers - assuming of course that this is what MCCoist wants.

Unfortunately in this case I suspect that McCoist will fin d the loyalty factor too much to "stab Smith in the Back" and it is not the done thing at Rangers but for the sake of our ckub Smith must go now'.

'Whatever the failings of PLG (many) in the long term we made a huge mistake ending the experiment in a real revolution, and replacing it with a player led revolt. we should have sacked Boyd, Ferguson AND Le Guen, and continued the ideas but with a new man. It set us back decades, and in ways we are still feeling now..... '

I am over the moon that that lot got beat today. If we win then the door is closing on them and were we to win at Ibrox or avoid defeat allied to a decent spend in January and 4iar should be ours.

Weak shot from Sammy. The Bhoys have upped the urgency a wee bit

Ange is terrific.. he is a match winner, but.. he doesn't know it!

once his confidence increases... he will be the best right back in the league.

Ange, is soitenly my man o the match.

I think the commentator said that's 53 SPL games in a row we've scored. The last Ibrox gane wasn't thar far back. Maybe he means home games.

sounds like Naka and Hinkel the heartbeat of the team today

All Celtic now - good ball in from Robson almost finds Sammy

Is there anywhere to watch the game online?

RRC,

You have mail.

Good defending - Andreas escorts the ICT forward to a seat safely out of the way - cross runs away

Chance for them over the top. Robson out of position again. If WGS does not sign a Left Back in January then he should be fired. We have gone far too long without a recognised player in that position

Need another for the good of my heart!

Boruc was fouled.. Caley player..took a poke at Boruc eyes, as Boruc grasped the Ball..causing Boruc , naturally to drop same.

Boruc protests to the Ref...and Gesticulates what had occured...

Ref... Laughs.

Does nothing.

HT Celtic 1-0 ICT

Decent game although the Bhoys have looked a bit sluggish at times. The front two have not got anything going - both look out of sorts. ICT have played well but the goal knocked the stuffing out of them. We failed to capitalise on that though. Excellent goal from Maloney who has showed a few good touches. Naka is again our only creative player. Hinkel has supported him well down the right. Caldwell having an unusually quiet game.

I would like to see Caddis on early in the second half. I'm off to open my birthday presents.

Hail Hail

can't bear radio scotland - Paul Mitchell gets so excited when Caley on the ball you don't get a true impression of the pressure they are exerting on our defence.

robson giving me the jitters at left back. What's going on with Naylor on the bench? I've heard rumour of contract disputes. Surely he can't be that bad that we wouldn't play a natural left back against Caley Thistle?

whooosh> yo! paul67..enjoy the game...
Yo! peeps was gibt? ..

Molly is Showing improvement...

On the other hand..
'
Samaras, is showing me Nada!

Take him off.. and put everyone out of their misery.

I like Ange.. mair and mair.

He is .. This much away from being Celtic's best Right Back of this generation...

He is improving in each game.

I like Ange.

Kojo.

Inside Celtic Park the bhoys look fairly comfortable

Announcer just gave us a scoreline from earlier today

Loud cheers and a good laugh

No contract problems for Naylor, he's just signed an extension.
I think Strachan feels we shouldn't need that many defensive players in home matches and Barry, in theory, gives us a better attacking option down the left.

frankj - You're right, but I want more than SPL success. We have not beaten a team of any quality yet this season

Now that the debt is dow to a negligable amount i hope the next 2/3 windows sees a bit of investment in the team.

Left back - we know about.

Centre Back - not a priority, but is a Basa appears then go for it!

Central Midfield - we need a partner for Brown. Someone who can control the tempo and display passing ability akin to Naka.

Wide Midfield - we may need to replace Naka soon. It will need a special player.

Striker - A replacement for JVOH. Marko Janko.

How are we looking?

Good day for me so far won some money in the Bookies (lots of Barnsley Bitter tonight) hence late logging on, Huns lose proving that they can't win away against a top 6 team. How's the game going and does anyone know how the plan for the big Cheer for Kano went?

HAIL! HAIL! KANO!

Good break down the left, but Brown just failed to pull the ball back for Sammy

Any One Have Link For The Match ?

Good spell of pressure now - surely a second is close....

Paul Mitchell is a nightmare to listen to.

Sounds as if we are well on top but still giving them chances, we need another to close the game out.

Naylor going to come on!

looks like Naylor going to be coming on

Jinkyredstar

Does that mean Robsons coming off or what?

also Sheridan doing extra warm up.

Might take hartley off and move robson into the midfield

how much did Hearts get for Gordon. He's shipped 4 goals at home to Bolton so far today

ICT putting 11 men behind the ball and making it tough for us to find any space going forward. They are probably hoping to keep the score at 1-0 and get a late goal on the break.

Sammi off for Sheridan
Robson off for Naylor

Sammy off for Cillian. Would have taken off Skippy myself.

Robson off for Naylor

Half chance for PH but shoots over

I'm surprised that Sammi was not playing in a duffel coat today (apols to o1bhoy)

We need to keep at them. This is classic SPhell with ICT digging and hoping for a breakaway equiliser. Another one is on my christmas list for to-day.

Naylor sets up Skippy who misses.....offside in any case!

loads of subs...im trying to listen to radio in one ear and do other stuff at same time... dunno why i have a day off work..grrrr...
hopefully another goal will settle peeps...
erm has naylor really signed a contract extension?

Skippy through on the keeper after a good ball from Naylor. Flagged off-side but didn't finish anyway

Hartley busrts through teh middle but over the top. PH sounds more at the races than SB - some thought that SB is carrying an injury from earlier,

PH shoots over the bar again. That's 3 tries today from roughly the same spot, all over the top in the same way

Good cross from Naka just out of reach for Cillian.

McDonalds first touch is awful.

Free kick to ICT - we are getting slack

We are falling back, why do we defend so deeply...another Free Kick to ICT

ICT are doing well closing us down and not providing us space, we need better movement from our forward players.

sheridan taken out by boruc

Sheridan head injury after free kick - ICT played on until ref stopped game for the head injury ....another goal please Celts

Boruc flattens Cillian in our 6 yard box. Crazy that Cillian was back there defending in the first place.

The crowd are getting very restless - we need a goal to calm things down.

I see the ref is helping another Glasgow team

Maloney goal:

maloney goal

Skippy perpetually offside What's wrong with the guy

Boruc just knock out Sheridan, no wonder he has no mates at the club

Murdo MacLeod saying it looks like Celtic settling for 1-0 - I hope not, have we learned nothing from Black Sunday/Tuseday night!

How bad was that pass from Lee Naylor?

Naylor having a torrid time

I was wrong about Lee Naylor he really is that bad.

well..
the next one was worse..
and now..
He gives away a free kick

This ref is really going out on a limb for the othe mob now

McDonald is no more than a passenger. This team without Naka would be unbearable

John Kennedy just been sent off for Norwich, Professional Foul, according to SSN

Naylor is having a mare

We are labouring here dont think I have heard the forwards getting ball for a while.
Great ball by naka for the goal, give us another 1 please!!!

how long is being added on?

Good work by Hinkle, who has had a good match, Skippy misses from the resulting chance

2 mins normal time

by the sounds of things, it seems I was lucky in not being able to come up for the game today. 2 minutes plus however many added on

Maloney shoots from 30 yds. Awful

Sheridan off for Koki - he must be injured

4 mins..rangers got the same. funny that

I believe weve won??

Oh Yeah!

7 points clear!

Its not even Christmas,
Never mind New year!

Great results for our 4 in a row prospects.

On to the next game.

CQN in meltdown..??

Ironbhoy.

.

Right Who is Havin the Party and Didnae Invite 001....????

The Name's 01.... 001....

back up again?

good to meet up with a lot of the bhoys at BB.s and then at Celtic park before the match.

Missed the mention for Kano at half time although I saw it before the match, the music drowned out any cheers from CQNers...

Are we broken?

Great results today, FF makes priceless reading.

"Walter" under pressure in tomorrow's papers- I doubt it bu he should be.

just back from a sparse parkhead

I saw two games today one in the pub and one at paradise and frankly apart from naka 4 terrible teams and some woeful players.

I expected more from celtic today but we can't complain to much as we are 7 points clear.

We must raise our game and players must start playing.

Skippy is off the pace but will come good as will GG.

Robson should not be wasted at left back. I know its to get him into the team but he is far more effeective in midfield.

Anyway thank god we are the best of a bad bunch and the huns truely are garbage. Wee uvf lafferty looks a buy!!!

Return of the Blog! I'll take the 7 point lead and the related heart condition which I am rapidly developing during the last 10 mins of games.

A hard day to-day but after Tuesday I'll take the end result - in fact I am having a drink and am feeling cheerrier already....ach we wus brilliant...we'll walk the league.

Hail hail

gweedorebhoy

I don't always agree with your views mate but your last post was spot on regards today. I shudder to think how poor we would be without Naka. We'll only realise how good he has been once he's gone.

KTF

The sun has got his hat on, hip-hip-hip-hooray
The sun has got his hat on and he’s coming out today
Now we’ll all be happy, hip-hip-hip-hooray
The sun has got his hat on and he’s coming out today

poor performance today, at least we got the 3 points..onwards to 4IAR....

Not the greatest performance - but 7 clear is a great place to be.

Inverness defended deep and we didn't manage to break them down at all. All of our possession was in front of them and apart from the goal we only had shots from outside the box, none of which hit the target. I can't recall their keeper making many saves.

Lovely ball from Nana for the goal and a good finish from Shaun.

Overall a tired, lethargic, scrappy performance. Too many misplaced passes and miscontrolled balls. But we got the result and that's what counts.

Naka and Hinkel played well, as did Hartley apart from his woeful shooting.

Paul,
You recently wrote an article suggesting November would decide the title, I hope you're correct. Having just looked at the fixtures for December this may well be a more difficult month, if Celtic take full points in December, Ibrox will be in total meltdown. Go on Celts make it happen.

SwanseaBhoy

Loved the FF stuff today. Keep it coming!

One of those games that you just need to grind out a result and as we did during WGSs first two seasons we did it. It was this time last year that the wheels started falling off the bogey and we dropped a lot of points (StMirren, Hibs at home, Hearts, ICT away), don't see it happening this time around.
Naka was a class apart today with Hartley, Hinkel and Caldwell all giving good performances. Referee was a disgrace.
Win our next 3 and we could be going to snake mountain 10 points clear as i can see them losing at Tannadice in a fortnight.

We got a clean sheet and 3 points. That apart not a lot to be said for the match. Hope ICT play like that when they visit Ibrox. A hard to beat team like St. Mirren.

We would all have liked a better performance on a bitter cold day. Hinkel was MOTM for me. Slight improvements from Maloney and Mick. Naylor was, unfortunately, poor again.

Well done to the bhoys who got the strips signed and the big screen tribute. Anybody get a photo of it?

7 points clear is worth celebrating so no more moaning from me. Hibs (A), Hearts (H) and Falkirk (A) means plenty to think about before we turn our thoughts to an Ibrox performance. Hope to see some players return from injury. Cillian has played more top team football more quickly than he should.

Evenin all,

Didn't see the game today but I did tune into Radio Scotland for the last 30 mins. That will be the last time I tune into Radio Scotland. Don't know who the comentator was but joy and exitement in his voice when describing how bad Celtic where and how much of the game was in ICT favour was evident for all to hear. Nearly crashed the car when he and Murdo said that Boruc could have been sent off for his reaction to the ref after being booked for moving the ball to the other side of the six yard box. Open season on the Celts I afraid. Bottom line is that the hun lost ground yet again. Deal with it.

By the way GIRUY Murray.

Evening all,

I haven't heard anything of the game and but a moment of Radio Scotland. Seems that Scottish football is now suddenly rubbish. Well, that's probably true but I suspect it's only because we are far and away the vest of the lot. After watching bits of the Tyncastle game today, I really believe EU's team are the ones going backwards and at a rate of knots. They looked dire, poor defence, no midfield to speak of and a forward line that BBJ compared afterwards to ours, reckoning (rightly) than none would get into our team.

Boruc's booking was a joke. OK, he walked with the ball rather than running, but is that really excessive timewasting.

The ref wasted far more time by running 30 yards to wave his card.

Somebody please tell me we were never ever seriously considering signing Kylie Laughable, If that is worth £4 million we seriously dodged a bullet there!

We will win 4IAR, i have no doubt after watching the diet mob v the full fatties, they are gash, so much for Bazza and Mingdes in mid, Hertz played all around those 2, i think they are going to miss Thomson more than they realise.

Seriously if we lose the league to that mob, no i wont even consider that, 4IAR only 6 to go.

gebhoy

Lying in bed the other night waiting to drift into the land of nod, my mind turned to matters Celtic - what else. Yes thinking of Celtic in bed can be sleep inducing or sometimes the opposite.

You can replay the magic of a good performance or ponder various team selections or permutations and gradually drift away until the alarm clock hits high c and jumps off the bedside locker at seven next morning. However after Tuesday's poxy result you toss and turn and wonder how the f.....k could Georgy Porgy and Naka miss those early chances. Particularly as both lads are regular goladors for Celts and Nakas precision on the ball is in Euro class.

Perhaps it was the dam cold and at 6ft 4 Georgy Porgy's head may be too far away from his feet. No excuses for Naka. Looking forward to a good nights sleep after to-days results.

More FF posts please?

Wallace and Driver worth a punt?

viewfaethewindae
the only hearts player i would take a punt on is Kingston

fergus

sory my pick lost, useless BT....

G67,
Always liked him, but we need a left back and someone with blistering pace, the elusive out ball!

Gordon_J - got your mail & replied.
I listened to the match on Radio Scotland & they made a big deal about THG clapping at the ref, I seem to remember Bougherra doing the same the other week with no hysteria from the commentators.
Bougherra, Boyd & Laughable were lucky to stay on the pitch today, and Captain Unbookable never turned up on a day when he was really needed, we might not have been that great today but we got 3 points after a difficult week & they didnae..I know which I prefer

According to one FF poster above skullduggery in the removal of managers at Ibrox is "not the done thing".

Aye right!

Just back from the game, not a great performance but 3 points will do for me.
How cold was that out there?
On the ref today , my mate knows him and he is a well known hun just in case anyone thought otherwise.
Lynott67

Never mind Wallace and Driver for a punt. Driver i like but for me who'd be worth a punt is Bruno Agiuar. Looks a really good midfielder.

Wasnt at the game today, had to watch youngest kid. Seen the goal and it was a wonderful ball from naka, hopefully we will keep him or someone else will step up to the mantle.
Watched first half of other game and some posters above are right it was 2 woeful outfits, shouldnt pose too much of a threat to us we just need to worry about ourselves and keep the momentum going, it will be a long winter down govan way.
How many times has Artur been booked now, will he be due a suspension soon, I think he has another 1 not including last week??

Hail Hail

lynott

really

that wee twat tried very hard to redress the balance of the jambo result...and according to her text so is ma we ma

the worsed since the rev and his infamous 10

BTW

who cares

courtesy of one James Cagney

"top of the world ma "

Quizking,

Noted that my self.

I thought he was off by the way they screamed.

Then it came to him clapping the ref..?

"There are some referees who would automatically show Boruc a second yellow for that."

Eh.? McCurry...?

You could'nt make it up.

What I believe will happen is Boruc will be "dealt" with eventually to the delight of the laptop loyal.

I just hope Boruc knows what he's dealing with here.

Ironbhoy.

Getting a bit worried about Sami. If his knee injury was only enough to keep him out for 4 weeks, then he shouldn't have much trouble getting back match fitness. He was on fire before it. It's either rushed back too soon or a confidence thing or else the cold.

lynott

comp playing up

no drunk (yet ) honest

Just a wee paranoid, conspiracy theory thought: in which game would Artur need to be booked to be suspended for the next Glasgow derby?

The difference between Hinkel today and on Wednesday is that he's mate Caldwell was back beside him on that side. Thought Hinkel was back to the player he's been the past couple of months, Wednesday i thought he looked a bit edgy. Two of them look to have struck an understanding on that right hand side.

WGS

YES

Loovens was guff on wed ...he affected Hinkel

Hinkel was very good today ...some great crosses BBJ /JVOH would have had a field day with that sort of service

After Tuesday, I'd take 3 points no matter how they came.

This is my personal favourite from FF so far.

"Rangers FC are a total and utter shambles right now.

A disgrace on the park. Miles behind a rank rotten Sellik. A Neil Lennon signed jersey hanging on the wall, and some tarrier p**ck called Dominic Sharkey working for the club. To cap it all, not one of those spineless b*st*rds playing today will be feeling as gutted as us.

The Rangers I knew and loved are dead to me."

..... let the party begin !

LFT

hi ghuys

i would just like to thank walter(he who has no surname)for picking that absolute joke of a team for todays game, watching it really cheered me up,,,,so thanks watty lolololololol

oh by the way did anyone notice if mendes or fergushun were playing today,,,,,lololololololololol

hail hail

mendesforplayeroftheyearCSC

PF ayr
Yep he had a shocker today and gave us nothing all day.
To me it would appear things are starting to ''even themselves out now''.
Despite some terrible decisions in both games today , we still find ourselves 7 clear!
Life aint too bad!
Lynott67

home from the game, credit to inverness who made a game of it. they sat in for sixty five minutes and when it was still one nil they gave it their best shot. i reckon we won fairly comfortably for a one nil score line.

hinkel and hartley were our two best players today caldwell and mcmanus were o.k. we lacked invention in midfield and therefore sammy and skippy suffered through lack of service through a packed caley defence. brown was effective at fetch and carry, but still insists on playing across the pitch and checks back constantly.

naka played well trying his best to add a defensive element to his game, robson tired in his unusual roll and when naylor came on we were quickly reminded why he hasn't been starting.

but all in all I'll take the three points, and its not been such a bad week after all nearly poured
a diet coke, but remembered the seven up.

hail hail

There is a school of thought that says that Bazza coming back has weakened TFOD. I don't watch them that much but is this fair comment? I would think that Davis and Thomson who were both absent today are their best players.

LambosFrontTeeth,

A fine post indeed.

Enemy intelligence is crucial to our our own. :)

Anymore nuggets...?

Ironbhoy.

I am reviewing the situation

My favotite left back had a nightmare today, hope it was a blip.

Agree with kojo, Hinkle was MotM.
Hartley and Naka were outstanding too.
We never looked like we got out of first gear and it caused a lot of frustration in the support and who can blame us, we needed a bit of excitement just to heat us up, and it never happened.
Mark Gudi said on clyde after the hun game "if Celtic win the league is over" he upset all of them.

7 in front keep it up.

the treble will have to do

hail hail

Not one bad performer,today...

Hey.. wait a minute!

That disnae sound right...

O.K. Not one bad performer, today...Na!

I wiz right the foist time!

Molly ,gave an improving performance..

Samaras and Macko battled and tried their best.

Naka..wiz excellent.

The Doughty Duo..( who's that?...ed)( Two Guesses, pal.) were workmanlike.

Ange.. was continuing his usual leaping and bounding towards improvement..

Paul was...well... adequate... why only adequate?

Well, Ah wull tell ya.

As you know.. I have nevah, evah, played the Game..

Howevahhhhhhhhhh..

Even I know that one should always KEEP ONE'S KNEE OVER!!!!!!!, The Ball.. when shooting... and in doing so...it will prevent the strike from RISING~

Is Paul aware of that?

Seems he is not...Three Times Paul Struck the Ball... WITHOUT FOIST TAKING THE PRECAUTION, THAT I HAVE HIGHLIGHTED... Job now for Mr. Strachan to point out this little piece of business.

Tut! Tut!

Nevertheless.. I am Happy as Larry.

Seven Big Ones in the Bank~

Sweet Bliss~

Kojo.

Thought that was a shocking referee today - he gave us practically nothing and that last 20 mins he gave them about a dozen nothin free kicks so that they could lauch one into the box. The one where Mick put in a fantastic tackle looked a joke and he them dragged Mick 20 yards out of the bix to speak to him then allow the FK before Mick got back into position.

And the incident with Mick at the corner of the main stand was an absolute riot as the linesman was 3 ft away.

Just spoke toVINNY_BHOY,and im worried, seven o clock on a satuday,on the blackpool shammie bus and hes sober! something wrong.

PeteTheBeat

i watched the first half at swinecastle

in that time captain unbookable touched the ball less than 6 occasions

in the first 12 mins he touched the ball twice

the first was a header back to the keeper the second was a shank which nearly hit the corner flag

totally ineffective and right off the pace

not as bad as Laffferty ...he was trully awful

just really crap

Ironbhoy,
I'd like to oblige but when I venture over there I need to shower immediately afterwards and I only have an average size hot water tank.
Anyway, I'm not the gloating type :-)

LFT

I see on the SFA website that the list of referees promoted to category 3 for this season include Andrew Dallas. Hmmm...

I missed the two games today as was on family business in Edinburgh
but can anyone confirm the fact that the teddy bears lost was due to
the fact that PHIL O'Donells timmy brother in law was the 4th official.

SFA really do have it on for them

MENDES ....THE NEW CAPUCHO

i was traduced for that statment in August

anyone care to disagree now

coorslad

That will be my fault - nothing on the way down - 2 beers in BBs and 1 beer after match in the club. And think he isnt drinking on the way back to Blackpool

I dragged him all over Glasgow with me today in the freezing cold

LambosFrontTeeth,

You are completely admonished.

I usually have to recite a decade of the rosary.

All the same, I salute your endeavour and bravery.

I look forward to further nuggets when yer boiler gets up to speed with Walters Washoots.

Hail, hail

Ironbhoy.

that must be the earliest I have been to the ground for years.
i've only had 3 beers all day....:)))))

jinksboy, thanks fer that i can blow the candles out, maybe on a promise!

At one point I thought Naka was about to challenge for a header only to see him pulling the ball onto his instep. The guy is total class and we'll only own up to that once he's gone.

Great to meet Oldtim, Jinkiesboy, Blantyretim, Kingoh, Vmanaw and other great CQNers before today's game and most importantly great to meet Kano's Dad.

I'm sure Martin and his loved ones will benefit from our thoughts and prayers.

EDB

I'm glad I gave you a pleasant suprise! :)))

LambosFrontTeeth, the G.o.D. penny has dropped; they are eight years into it and unlike us at the same period, the clouds are getting darker by the year.

Kojo, I actually thought that Shaun struggled today, apart from his one piece of brilliance.

Correct on Paul Hartley, three shots from a similar distance with the same outcome, perhaps he only hits the target when we really need the goal.

BT

The quiet man - It was an honour today mate - please pass on my regards again. Loved Charlies comment - I used to be Charlie Gallacher. Brilliant

Im absolutely freezing and tired but feel great after the day we have had and made happen.

Juts gonna put the photos on my bebo - berniek31 from today with Kanos dad and a few others. All welcome to look in and see them

God Bless Kano

I've got a mate that goes to all of the dark side games, after watching the full fat v's diet huns today I asked if Lafferty is always that bad. He reckons he is usually worse !! Got away with that one i reckon...

On newsnow,I think its randalstown hoops are going with a lead of FF quotes.

apologies for the FF obsession tonight, its just soooooo enjoyable and respect to anyone behind enemy lines.

As for us today,I havent seen the game but it seems were having trouble handling pressure when were on top as opposed to pressure when we need to come from behind which we seem to revel in,I dont want to say Im worried about it because theres been mitigating circumstances however,Id like to think this 7 point gap will now help the squad relax a wee bit and play to our potential with injured players slowly but surely coming back.

still very proud.

not been on much lately

what happened to kano?

Bazza

On the day of the Man Utd game he collapsed in OZ and was taken to hospital unconscious. He has regained consciousness now but is still very ill and the doctors are still unsure of what the condition is.

bazza67, Kano’s picture appeared on the big screens before the game and at half time with a Get Well Soon message from his CQN friends.

celt for life, deleted, language.

Jinkysboy

you put your heart and soul into it..
well done mate...
im on your site so i will have a wee look later..

especially nice to meet kano's dad today and be able to pass on my regards to him..

Hail Hail

paul67

told you they were guff

and there`s you frettin during the second half

re Lafferty ....dodged one there alright

and ,

Weir is eventually playing his age ....must be the cold weather:¬)

From The Darkside.

"why do our players constantly get articles in the papers saying what they are going to do and then it all goes t^ts up."

"What a shambles to be 7 points behind Celtic before December after beating them in August"

"The way our club are going it could be another 9 for them.
Smith MUST go tonight."

These are the postable ones.

They are hurting.

BT

My heart went out to Kanos dad today - I felt his pain and in some way wanted to relieve some of that. Im sure he liked the tribute as well as the signed shirt

It was an honour to do that on behalf of the fantastic crew on here and Vinny came all the way from Blackpool just for the tribute.

I have mailed a few to Ramie and kingho to share with Kano and Matt

Hail, hail

Jinksybhoy - well done for all the effort you've put in to getting Kano's pic and message on the big screen today. I'm sure everybody cocnerned will appreciate it.

Anyway, on the way home from the match on a bus with inky jr, wee wummin asked me, 'Whit wis the score? Ye don't look very happy'

I said: 'One-nil to us, I'm just a bit freeing'

She said: 'Ach well that's aw that matters. How did Rangers get oan?'

I said: 'They got beat earlier on'

She said: 'Well, that's even better son. Gonnae gies a haun wi mah messages...'

Not a great game today (Euro hangover? ICT playing with effectively 6/7 defenders? Who knows..), but getting three points when you're not playing well is more than welcome.

STANDING UP...somebody else said to me today 4 is almost half of 9

All

dreadful news re kano

my thoughts are with his family and friends

B

jinkysboy

good work today pal

a strange feeling when the top guys picture came up

there`s me clapping away with the remainder of the 102 residents looking at me somewhat perplexed

btw ....plenty of applause coming from behind and to the side of me

anybody near 102 ???

RRC
post the unpostable with disguised expletives.....on ye go!! haha!

Sorry Paul. Didnt think that wiz a sweary word

Hiya Ghuys,

Havent posted for ages but always reading! Great site, was so sick after the mid week humiliation that i never read ANY web sites until this avo to ensure i never had to hear the drivel. Anyway onwards and upwards, well we canny go any higher than CHAMPS, the huns are rank, we are a mile ahead of them sometimes wonder if the bhoys believe how better they are!

Anyway, a couple of months ago I posted to advise that Watty's heart wasn't in it and that he took the job for a final fling and a help to the mint, and that my mrs's pal who is best pals with watty's wife (aparently he is a really nice chap.. if your a hun) anyway Swaly and Ian Currant(bun) to take over in the christmas period..... lets see.....

hope its true as these two would give the fans so much laughter, well the tic fans anyway....

p.s. driving doon the road today pass a wee bus full of tic fans with the Reggy 76 CFC, fantastic eh?

Cheers

inkybhoy

you missed a good one on Tuesday

good food /drink/company ...even got to start a fight in a pub ....well nearly the, steward left...much to my relief ...on wed morning ....when i was made aware of it

PF Ayr

Mrs Inky had a work commitment on Tuesday and I was left with the weans. Watched game in house, and even after it, the wee man still wanted to go today.

Still haven't had the full rundown on Tuesday from WDH.

Am awaiting a report about the PF. :)

Bhoys and ghirls of CQN

today was a fulfilling day

My big pal Celtic Bob came around and we picked up Vinny at the club and straight to BBs

There we met Oldtim, GordonJ, WDH, Jamie, BT and junior, Paul67 and kevin, Martin42, SFTB, Dick Byrne, Eventheolivesarebleeding, Inkybhoy and others that I dint catch their names, All signed Kanos shirt and it felt good to see you all together in Celtic

Then we fired down to CP and met up with Kingho and Kanos dad Matt and I was touched by his pain and humbled when he thanked us for all we were doing for his family. We also met up with EdB and Lurgan52 before heading into the game (just as the news came about the 2-1 against the rankers)

We then saw the tribute and a 1-0 win that takes us 7 points clear then froze almost before getting home to Mrs jinks and plate of hot soup.

Thank God for days like this , thank God for all things Celtic and God bless Kano and his family tonight.

Sir Paul

Of course, Molly struggled... that is his wont.

I did not say that Molly gave a good Performance...for,as you have said... He Struggled.

Howevahh...

What Molly did,was score the only and the winning goal... so....

He did improve on his last performance.. well.. sorta...in that respect.

I am still haunted by serious misgivings as to how much Molly is adding to our attack.

Nevertheless.. if he can score a goal that wins the game...at least once in a while...then...

I will gie him a pass mark, every time.

Ange, on the other hand is a genuine 24 carat player..in the making.. I believe that Ange will turn out to be.. Mr. Strachan's Top Buy.

Incidentally, I am having trouble in inserting my usual Barbs, directed at any Celtic Player,today..

Funny about that...

Well, on Thoid Thoughts... mebbe it isnae...mebbe, it is because Ah am Sae Happy that, Today.. I believe the G.A. emphatically, sold their Joiseys!

Yes.. I believe that... I really dae do.

Kojo.

PF ayr,

My own seat is in 143 but for reasons too boring to explain I was in 102 today & heard some applause & cheers for kano too. Well done jinksyboy - it was good to finally meet you today.

PF Ayr

PF ayr, great result from Edinburgh today, I hear many good things about Lafferty, good for us that is.

celt for life, no probs.

God Bless Kano and Family.

OUr thoughts are with you all....

I was a bit disappointed by the choice of MOTM,Although he only appeared for a couple of minutes Koki Mizuno was by far the best player on the park today.

Jinkynewton -

I think you could be right. Smith's reaction after his teams defeat today wasn't what you'd expect of a guy who cares or expects to be there at the end of the season. Despite what he said, the way he said it had all the hallmarks of someone who simply couldn't give a fig. And actions speak louder than words...

Here's a nice one...

"I really am now f*kkin devastated by this inept sh*te every week. Not since the days of John Greig have I seen as bad a team(not all the players faults) Why the f*kk can 50,000 fans look at formations and tactics and see where the problems lie yet this f*kkin impostor of a manager knows different. Is he really f*kkin stupid or does he do it to upset the fans. You can clearly see the one footed players in the wrong positions trying make a simple pass...ITS NOT WORKING WALTER F*KK OFF AND GIVE US SOMETHING TO CLING TO. MERRY XMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR SCEPTIC SCUMBAGS. Thats so I dont take it out on the wife"

i'm in 102 but wasnt there today, so it wasnt me :)

i cant agree that we're the best of a bad bunch - we win while playing well and we win ugly but we win, thats not a bad team. a bad team wouldnt have won today after coming back from denmark with that horrible defeat in their heads and their legs.

the huns today looked like they were in trouble after 15 minutes, they looked like they would struggle to get something from the game and so it proved, we've looked like that many times and always seem to win. that seems to be what sets us apart from them, and i thought he cliche said that a good team wins when they play poorly.

when you compare our recent record against them, and the way they've rolled us over by wanting it more on a couple of occasions, its a strange thing to say, but it looks like we've got a lot more mental strength than them throughout the team.

a good team is about more than winning beautifully every week.

This bandwagon that seems to be gathering speed regarding Arthur is very worrying.

The one thing Celtic cant boast in thier recent history is a truly world class goalkeeper. Now we have one in our midst and i firmly believe we wont know what we had till we loose him.

Long long long time lurker who now needs some help from someone who lives in or near Washington state usa. I moved here just over a week ago from Scotland & signed up with a tv company called direct tv who carry Setanta sport. So thats me sorted I think. oh no i'm not..tuesday I settle to watch our C/L game but can only find Arsenal or Man u.In fact it seems the Setanta channel here only show's live english football. In a panic I tried the net for pictures or comentary of said game but met with nothing but sorry this game not available outside the uk. I cant tell you guy's how gutted I am about not being able to watch the Bhoy's as I have been a season ticket holder for over 30 years & still am. Can anyone from this side of the world help me with some info about getting to see the games.

Has somebody killed the wicked witch and their demented minions and not told me about it ? :-)

Do Rangers still exist ? Yet to see any kind of article discussing their weekend set back except Fat Traynor holding up his hand and admitting that he´s a clueless banker ?

Why is George Burley discussing Alarm Clang Ogre fitness ?

Tit for tat here I reckon.

We get a home tie in the cup and Rangers dont. St Johnstone - The Patron saint of French football managers
