FORMER Celtic midfielder Beram Kayal is a £3million target for Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian.
The Israeli international, who moved to Brighton in January 2015 after failing to impress Ronny Deila, has caught the eye of the cash-rich
Far East outfit.
Kayal, 28, has recently returned from a 15-week absence due to an ankle injury and is a key player for Chris Hughton in his push for a place in the Premier League at the end of the season.
Brighton are currently two points behind leaders Newcastle with a game in hand.
Kayal signed a new contract in November which expires in June 2019.
But the Chinese club will go ahead with their bid before their transfer window closes on February 28.
