    Lustig at RB isn’t the best choice – he’s lost more points than he’s won when playing in this formation, while Izaguirre, although possessing a better points ratio, has seldom looked like a dynamic wingback recently. Wilson and Mulgrew have played only once before in 4-3-3 for an extensive enough time (2-0 A to Dundee Utd) and were excellent.

     

     

    We have our classic central 3 of Brown, Wanyama and Ledley – again, we’ve only seen them play once in this formation, but again, it worked superbly well, with our captain and Vic looking as though they were made for this line-up.

     

     

    Up front looks very natural, with Forrest out wide on the right, Stokes on the left and Hooper in the middle. As long as Hooper stays up front and doesn’t drop deep – meaning Forrest would have to partner Stokes – we should be fine. They have never played together in this shape, but were devastating when Celtic went 3-4-3 v Dundee Utd in the 6-2 game this season.

     

     

    If we were to make one change to this team, Ambrose for Lustig would be my choice.
