I am a big fan of Charlie Mulgrew…..but I am saying….please, not in midfield. Charlie is a CB. Reads the game well, and can distribute the ball well from the centre. Slows us down too much in midfield.
Maybe we are going with a back 3, and forrest and Mathews out find.
Going to be watching by myself. Never a pretty sight…….
Back from lurking for a while. Terrible planning having to sit at Edinburgh Airport for flight to London rather than being in my usual place at Paradise. I think we’re gonna start with a 4 4 2 but hopefully as they retreat we can expand our attacking players with Mathews switching from left back to right mid allowing Forrest to stay further forward alongside Commons and Stokes, Lustig, Ambrose and Mulgrew should be able to cope with their solo striker, that’s what i think.
