Hopeful more than expectant……not buying into
all the nonsense about Milan not being up to
speed and having injury problems….. a draw
would be a fantastic result………take a 1-1 and
get out of Dodge.
I’m happy with the team as it’s about the most robust we have. It’s a shame Joe is injured. Hopefully Sammi can wear them out before Dirk and Teemu come on to blow them away with their pace. Hail hail!
Big game for Stokes , getting the starting place , a chance to show he has got it at this level , hope he takes his chance – hat trick would be acceptable !!!

I’m pleased with the team, would any mineshafters ready to pile in if we have a bad night please name their side prior to kick off and not later with benefit of hindsight. My main worry is conceding an early goal, if we reach 20 minutes at parity I will be happy.
Oh Milan in the sun. Celtic two, Milano 1.
We face the same tough challenges every time we make the CL Group stage. This year we have a group in Forster, Lustig Matthews, Ambrose, Izzy, Commons, Sammi, Broonie and Charlie who are not novices and have been over the course.
If Milan play well, we can still get beat but the experience of these guys should help to prevent panic and thrash defending.
It’s all to play for and I hope the bhoys earn praise whatever the result.
Fourteen goals before half time would help me relax.
