When SSB hits the skids, their pundits won’t have a problem getting a club to manage….. pure experts in everything football, so they are……or, they could join the sevco board, everyone else is….hehe

I’ve only managed the one podium…………strangely enough it was on the 25 May, kind of fitting given my nom de plume.

This is more about gaining experience across the squad, and rightly so…….good that we will have more ‘time’ for the qualifiers next year….

  5. ADAM Matthews will make his long-awaited return from a shoulder injury tonight for Celtic’s UEFA Champions League showdown against Barcelona in the Nou Camp after being named in the starting XI by Neil Lennon.

The Welshman, who hasn’t featured in over two months, is one of five changes made by the manager from the team that swept Motherwell aside five days ago in the Scottish Premiership, as the Hoops aim to end their European campaign on a high in the Catalan capital.

Kick-off is 7.45pm (Celtic Park time), with live updates on the club’s official Twitter feed: @celticfc

CELTIC (4-4-2) Forster; Lustig, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Ledley; Matthews, Brown, Biton, Boerrigter; Samaras, Pukki

Subs: Zaluska, Stokes, Commons, Mulgrew, Balde, Atajic, Fisher

  7. Got a funny feeling about the game tonight.

Think we can maybe get a result, a narrow victory or scoring draw.

    Interesting team selection from Neil.

Think Adam’s a risk on account of him just been back in training for a week or so.But trust the managers judgement on that.

    Sent this to U2US@skysports.com:

Just heard your reporter, live from the Nou Camp, while previewing the Barcelona – Celtic tie, use the term “violence” to describe the behaviour of some Celtic supporters at Fir Park last Friday night.

That is an unwarranted misrepresentation of what actually happened, and an immediate retraction, and apology, is required.

    ————

Anyone participating in this and hoping to get anywhere should point out there have been no charges of ‘violence’ brought against anyone over the events at Fir Park.

Make sure you point out Sky Sports should not be making judgements when no one has been charged, and that you were led to believe the company ran courses on the correct way of dealing with these kind of stories.

I am led to believe complainants are likely to get more success using this approach.

Thanks SRS, I’ll get on to the again tomorrow morning!

Prediction for tonight! 0:2 at half-time, with last-gasp equaliser for Barca to stay top of the group. 10000-1.

Gaining experience is good so long as it’ s not the experience of being humped.

I don’ t expect Adam to last 90 mins. Bring on Charlie!

I have a meeting in Ardwick tomorrow.

Would you be jealous if I went via Ancoats and bought half a dozen meat and potato pies?

Go for it mate. Jump on the Macunian Way onto GtAncoats be there in five minutes.

Might beat you there and buy them out first lol.

  12. Good to see 3 youngsters on the bench.

Even if they don’t get a game they will relish the atmosphere.

  13. ” It’s jist sich a shame that Celtic are oot ae it. Sich a sense of anticlimax,”

I feel so sorry for Wee Chic.

    I can feel his disappointment.
