  1. NEIL Lennon has named an unchanged team for today’s Scottish Premiership clash against Aberdeen as Celtic aim to repeat their dazzling display in last week’s 6-0 trouncing of Inverness Caley Thistle.

Another victory for the Scottish champions would keep their hopes alive of smashing the 100-points barrier before the end of the campaign.

Kick off in Paradise is 3pm and there will be live updates of the games on the club’s official Twitter feed: @celticfc

CELTIC (4-3-1-2) Forster; Matthews, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Izaguirre, Brown, Mulgrew, Johansen; Commons; Stokes Grififths

Subs: Zaluska, Balde, Pukki, Lustig, Kayal, Boerrigter, Henderson

Great strength in attack, but weakness at RB in Matthews, and Forster is less assured v Aberdeen.

Much as I would like Celtic to thump the dons today, I don’t think this is the team to do it.

My prediction – Celtic win by one goal.

    Come on today Celtic.

A big performance and put these upstarts to the sword today.

Lets make manager of the year look like the two good games he actually is.

Saw someone dressed as a bear there in tescos port Glasgow. Half Celtic strip half rangers I commented that the bear was half deed.

Promoting some Celtic v deed at park lea. Frank mcgarvey taking part as well as well as some folk from that old mythological entity.

Is this a sign of things to come where ye olde derby will be reprised on a annual basis much like re runs of the original game of football.

I wonder if there will be smoke bombs or just the usual odour of après rasage and sausage rolls.

  7. Marrakesh Express on

In the park right early today and from my seat I can spot at least 20 new seats in the area of main stand occupied by the deadco bigots the other night.

How many was it in the ‘destruction’ of Fir park?

  8. Marrakesh Express on

Cant work out the sheep. Load of them in pub earlier all half cooked and in good form slagging the huns with us.

Now in the stadium they dish it out (hun like) to Neil Lennon.

    1) Sad reflection on Dingwall that there isn’t a suitable venue there.

    2) The guest speaker was boring. Alec MacLeish. Sure he’s a nice guy. He made a comment in his speach that the internet was a “poison” in the game. During the “any questions” bit at the end I was sorely tempted to get away from questions like, “Who was the best player you ever coached?” and introduce, “A poison you say? Not a valuable means of ridding the game of corruption then? A poison? Do you think the people of Tunisa and Egypt would agree it’s a poison?

Afraid I just didn’t have the motivation in me though.

  10. Was standing outside the ground there, fellow about 40 speaking to two auld guys with their flat caps on. The youngish guy talking about the deid team, ah miss the games. The two auld boys right away said, naw I don’t want them back in any shape or form, don’t miss them.

He started to back track a wee bit.

Was gid to hear… from the auld yins.

  15. This is a significant development for the Club and one which we are sure will be welcomed by supporters and visitors to Celtic Park. And along The Way…

A 150m avenue running from London Road to Celtic Park’s main entrance.

Area of Site is 13,000sqm or just under the size of two football pitches

300,000 paving bricks used and laid by hand

Over 200 workmen and women have contributed to the project.

    62,500hrs worked by local contractors

A 7.5m Celtic Crest made of Scottish Whin stone, quarried in Kilsyth, polished and then the detail grit blasted into the stone

A supporters meeting area formed in the shape of a four-leaf clover, edged with cobbles from the original Kerrydale Street

    Installation of 2,100sqm of turf

    Associated new parking areas built

The Celtic Way will be illuminated by green tipped lighting.

Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawwell said: “We are delighted to announce the completion of The Celtic Way, something which we feel has transformed Celtic Park and provided a stunning new public realm area for the benefit of our supporters.

Up over goal, I can’t work you out at all. You have constantly campaigned for Zakuska now you think Forster is weak v Aberdeen? Matthews is some how captured in your issues log?

Why is Forster poor against Aberdeen and what is your gripe re Matthews?
