Relatively happy with that team. Would have preferred Efe in instead of Denayor, hope the boy shook off his cobwebs early on Saturday and has grown in confidence from his excellent display.
Didn’t want to see Commons and Stokes in the same team away from home in Europe, they are too similar. I think Berget or Griffiths could have led the line better, both are able to get in behind, Berget has pace, looks like he can attack the ball in the air and looked decent central against St Johnstone, Griffiths is the only number 9 we have. Still Stokes played well at the weekend and can link play up better than the aforementioned.
Would maybe prefer Biton to Mulgrew, but Charlie looks like he has the trust of the manager.
Cautiously optimistic.

My confidence is mostly based on the fact that it would be hard to be as bad as we were in the Murrayfield game and for 60 minutes in Poland.
It is not the soundest evidence base but it will do. I want one away goal as I cannot see them scoring lots.

McCann mentions Ronny’s “12 month rolling contract” to imply he’s not trusted by the club and conveniently doesn’t say that all Celtic mangers get the same contract because it prevents disruptive contract disputes every 3-4 years
Still don’t agree with both Johansen and McGregor in same team away from home in Europe……….. far far too soft …….big worry for me as well as very inexperienced centre half,……..gut churning time am afraid !!!!!!
