Script written for Scepovic

886

With John Guidetti ineligible, Anthony Stokes is manager Ronny Deila’s first choice striker for Europa League action.  Anthony arrived at Glasgow Airport this morning but was sent home ill.  He was a certain starter, so whatever plans the manager made, a rethink is in order.

Stefan Scepovic made his goal-scoring breakthrough against Astra last month, and followed up with a goal next time out against Kilmarnock, but he was benched for Partick and Inverness Thistle.  Despite being third on the roster he’s likely to be the solitary striker role tomorrow evening.

This is a big game in Stefan’s Celtic career.  A European ground with an 8500 capacity presents a different pressure, and expectation, than Celtic Park.  Can he rise to the challenge?  Wakaso stepped forward in Salzburg and Callum McGregor did the same in Reykjavik, Warsaw and Maribor.  Both benefited enormously as a result.  I could make a case that Stefan needs this game; the script’s written……

Many thanks to everyone who bought the DVDs from CQNBookstore since yesterday, that’s’ the deal finished.  Will try to pull another together at some point.

AFF THE POST AGAIN.when will your luck change?????

  4. Everyone should make their own decisions about which games they will or will not attend but I am surprised by the number of people who are choosing not to go to games against Sevco. I would not want to think that the actions of this new club or their support define any part of me or my life. I go to Celtic Park to support Celtic regardless of the opposition.

I appreciate there may be some safety concerns and that is about the only reason I would allow that club to affect my decision to go to Celtic Park. Their fans support for their club is steeped in offence songs and chanting but to be honest I pity them rather than dislike, or even hate, them.

If I am able to get up to Glasgow I will be there to support Celtic, if not my brother uses my season tickets.

They should, but they won’t, IMO obviously, tho I am not party to what has gone on behind closed doors.

But, and the but as ever, it has been posted that Res 12 is not a priority of the suits, so that tells me they don’t want to rock the boat, and just bend over and take it.

    Ok, I’m back,.

Resolution 12 where it is and no one seems to know where that is as it has been made secret by Celtic and the messengers ( remember the ones I was talking about earlier who I thought couldent handle it) now I find it ironic, that resolution 12 breaking it down a bit rather than go into great detail was about the secrecy that the SFA,SPL,SFL, and thems had cooked up between them, it now seems that the same thing is going on with the spokeswoman/man and Celtic, why can’t people be told what is going on, why have they waited one calendar year for information, when did resolution 12 become a secret? And why did it become a seceret? You being the man from where ever you where seem to know and have done great work as many here have said,(although I’ve never seen you post anything) you tell us oh great one, our resolution 12 champion, wtf is going on?

Who would be interested in crowd funding a full page advertisement in the Sunday Herald outlining our position re so-called Old Firm and the myth that they are the same club which was unfairly demoted?

    TD,

To you its always been a secret, you have no right to know what’s going on, you’ve spent all your time ridiculing the resolution and those who brought it to fruition.

Meanwhile you the guy that spent so much time telling the world the wrong people were dealing with the resolution had the chance two nights ago to show us all how it was done and filled your man nappy, sling yer hook, no one involved with the resolution will be taking anything you have to say seriously after your showing, oh nappy filling sage.

  20. I have spoken to The Sunday Herald and outlined the proposal.

We have an agreed price which is £1250 plus VAT.

We have to submit the content and they will run it past our old friends at the ASA then the Editor will have final approval.

If the ad is banned by ASA we will have a story.

If it is allowed by the ASA and stopped by the Editor – a man many on here have great faith in given his support for the YES campaign and the subsequent coverage they alone printed re the George Square Unionist riots – then we have a story.

And we will publish the content of the ad in CQN Magazine, in the CQN Annual (print) and online.

Meeting BRTH this afternoon to discuss wording.
