  1. Celticrollercoaster supporting Shay,our bhoy wonder along the way on

    Jobo Baldie

    19:25 on

    5 January, 2015

    Fantastic news Jobo, that’s a payout pot to the winner of £300, with the same going to Wee Shay.

    You’re a far better salesman than that Doc ever was! :-)

    Shall, I revise my estimate to 67? :-)

    COYBIG

    Cheat count to start without fear or favour.

  3. This appears to be the team:

    ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Gordon :::::::::::::::::::::::::::

    Matthews : Ambrose : Van Dijk : Izaguirre

    :::::::::::::::::::: Brown :::::: Bitton ::::::::::::::::::

    ::: Henderson ::: Johansen :: Commons ::

    ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Scepovic ::::::::::::::::::::::::

    Apologies to the happy clappers in advance.

    OK.

    Matthews and Henderson down the right.

    Matthews is our default RB, but must surely be replaced as soon as is humanly possible. Henderson played at RM in front of Fisher v Zagreb. It didn’t go well.

    Ambrose/Van Dijk CB.

    I’ve said it before – both are excellent footballers, but for 4-2-3-1 you need at least ONE no-nonsense defender to play alongside the ballplayer. Two ball-playing CBs in this formation makes for an uncomfortable night.

    Izaguirre/Commons down the left.

    Perfectly fine, and Commons has scored from that area, but they don’t have the most reassuring of records together, perhaps because Commons will not track back deep to cover Izzy’s offensive runs.

    Brown/Bitton CM

    Brown is crucial for this game, but he and Bitton haven’t really clicked. The languid Israeli has often looked confused as to what’s expected of him.

    Johansen behind Scepovic

    Not bad in terms of their record, but by far the worst strike pairing I’ve seen. It’s depressing that a club known for its ethos of style and flair is creating goals by relying on the T-1000 to close players down, hoping for a mistake. We’re better than that.

  4. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon ....The angels are with Wee Oscar in Heaven.. Ibrox belongs to the creditors on

    When we are top of the league it’s because we have no competition ……. funny that ….!!!!!!!!

  5. Evening from Dubai Timland.

    These midnight kick-offs in the cold desert are not on.

    COYBIG.

  6. Tambourine Bhoy of 1967 on

    Thelurkintim,

    I waited, and waited, actually got a bit lonely for a second, before the gentleman in me allowed a more worthy winner :)

  7. I admire Ronnie’s confidence making big changes for a game we really need to win to get back in the saddle.

    I hope it is inspirational and nit a mistake.

    I got asked several times by my family/friends here in Ireland(who follow English footie) over Christmas what I thought if Ronnie.

    I have been non committal, which is genuinely my stance, but tonight feels like the point where we have a Venglos season or a Jansen

  8. Ahh, Geordie Munro….Cheers for the clarification

    He just needs to work on his wording.

    Generally speaking, I think about what I am about to write, consciously or subconsciously.. I then think a little as I write it…… To then analyse what I have written. I’d go daft… Or should I say, even dafter.

  9. I’m glad i put the -))) thing at the end of my odds offer.

    I hope i’m wrong and he scores 3.

    Being serious for a moment i couldn’t find a £note here at home if my life depended on it. -)

  10. Found this, nay wonder scottish footy is a lauging stock

    Winding up notice story accurate. Tax due Dec 22, not paid. Letter issued Dec 30. If no payment by Jan 6 , HMRC commence winding up. ➡️

    Barcabhoy ‏@Barcabhoy1 23m23 minutes ago

    However no SPFL breach as tax only viewed as overdue by them if not paid by Jan 19. Which shows flaws in SPFL rules

  11. The Battered Bunnet on

    I take it Zubizarreta is carrying the can for Barcelona breaching the player protection rules.

    Or is it simply the case that you don’t need a director of football when you can’t sign players ’til summer 2016?

    In any event, positive to see the rules being applied to one of the game’s leviathans. Makes a pleasant change.

    Off to training in the rain. Enjoy the game.

  12. Up_over_goal

    Not splitting hairs here, but I see Commons playing central….. If anyone will be wide left, my guess is Johansen, for his energy.

  13. Tambo,

    Good mhan, just remember, post before reading any new article….thats the secret, and refresh as often as possible….or don’t listen to me, I’ve never been 1st ;-))

  14. Tambourine Bhoy of 1967 on

    Coneybhoy,

    I like Ronny. He has balls. I like… um… I like his style.

    Under Ronny, we will see many brave (or clever) decisions regards formation and first 11. It is, afterall, a work in progress. Time will tell us more than tonights result wether he’s right for Celtic.

    HH

  15. Henderson has been playing behind the striker for development team this season, can see him behind Scepovic and Commons and ahead of Brown, Biton and Johansen

  16. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire on

    Starry..,

    10 last time I counted, declaring now so I don’t get charged with looking to blame ref for result, like they tried to do last time.

    Oh and a wee reminder about declaring the HMRC as their biggest threat and possibly biggest creditor a couple of months ago :)

    Read it here first :)
