Distractions have been arriving thick and fast at Celtic this week, however, focus must now turn to matters on the field. We must complete our league challenge by beating Motherwell tomorrow. The visitors form has fallen away in recent weeks, especially against Rangers, but you can be sure they will be in peak condition tomorrow.
Celtic’s already depleted midfield will have to cope with the further loss of Kris Commons, who will still be giving Hearts’ prominent non-condoner of violent attacks, Jim Jeffries, nightmares, after his performance at Tynecastle on Wednesday.
You don’t need me to tell you that the history of our club is rich with heroic and unexpected glory. This is Celtic we are discussing; expect the unexpected.
Believe.
Today is your last chance to buy the Good Child Foundation’s Just Can’t Get Enough single. Buy it, or I will hunt you down (and ask you politely to buy it)! I spoke to Reamonn Gormley’s father last night. Although these clearly remain incredibly difficult days for the family, he found your efforts to support Reamonn’s memory through the Good Child Foundation very supportive.

Reading Between the Lines
(Warning I’ve had a few rums).
There was a post earlier today about what John Reid said at last night’s event concerning the removal of Dallas that suggested Celtic were not entirely passive.
Reading between the lines I reckon Celtic had suspicions Dallas was behind the honest mistakes but could not prove it or how it was done. Then Craven blew the whistle on how it could have been done (by pulling up referees for decisons they did not give or ones they should have given in our games.
The difficulty was proving it of course but when the Pope E mail became public knowledge the TimGod had answered a prayer and I would not be surprised (but I am reading between the lines and it is all my rum fueled conjectue) if there was some exchange between Celtic and the Church who highlighted how unacceptable such behaviour was. Ok Dallas got done as a lamb rather than a sheep but the objective was met.
Now if the TimGod is still on duty Killie will take a point tomorrow and we will win. But if it does not happen it only means Rangers winning the title is part of a bigger plan that we have to have faith will unfold as it should (like HMRC winning and UEFA having to take a real interest in rangers and questions being asked about the integrity of the league that folk are asked to pay money to watch.

from the Celtic hub
http://www.celtic-hub.com
Looking around all the various blogs and speaking to many Celtic fans this morning it is clear that tomorrow is going to be a special occasion.
Recent events have only aided in bringing our support to a closeness and unity that as a 27 year old I have not experienced.
The majority it seems are not holding out much hope for that helicopter to enter Parkhead airspace but they are still expressing their desire to give the team and Neil Lennon unprecedented backing tomorrow.
Some like me still believe the league is heading to Celtic park and as a united support we are set to show the world just what it means to be part of this great club.
In the 18th minute expect an ovation for our manager that will lift the roof and shake our famous stadium to its foundations. Expect the Green Brigade to turn it up a notch (if that’s possible) and continue the phenomenal backing they have given the team this season.
I am so proud of you all for the way in which you have come together and I don’t think I have ever been so proud to be a tim.
Neil Lennon is a Celtic legend of that there is no doubt. When he starts adding trophies to his cv he will surely be heading for the title of the greatest Celt of all time. I am Neil Lennon, you are Neil Lennon, we are all Neil Lennon.
The stadium will be jumping tomorrow and I cant wait to sing my heart out and show the team that whatever happens we will be there next season ready to fight for them again.
Tonight I plan to watch the history of Celtic DVD and in particular the 1986 league decider when Albert Kidd helped Celtic win the league.
Who for Kilmarnock will be become a Celtic hero tomorrow?
Just to remind you all (as if you have forgotten) that tomorrow is also the anniversary of Tommy Burns death and it gives us another reason to lift the roof.
We will never forget you Tommy and our thoughts are with your family. I hope we can give them something to smile about tomorrow.
The Celtic family united.

I concede your aamateur psycho analysis of my cognitive dissonance holds water..
But..
The Whites and Kellys got their just deserts…but they were never presented with the opportunity to seriously disable the Huns..?
I’d say results are at least as much to do with dwindling crowds…Lenny is artificially inflating crowds at the moment – what would they be without him? lest we forget lenny was an accidental appointment not a planned move.
I honestly believe PL has FAILED us over the last 6 transfer windows and penny pinched..a different approach employed towards his own remuneration
I disagree that we have had the teams to win ..we have always had glaring gaps…LB, then CB , GK..and never a ‘captain’ to lead on the pitch over the last 3 season?
But as i say -you are partly correct – I’m just hacked off watching the Huns gub us again!

I do know that Celtic were worried about the viability of the SPL, not just Rangers but at a number of clubs, so nothing would surprise me.
What is absolutely essential for the future of our game is that all other teams and especially Rangers live within their means and the SFA is reconstituted to make sure that happens.
This means clearing out the hun influence and I say hun as a description of a mindset that will over borrow and cheat the tax payer to look after itself and is not even aware that it is doing wrong.

Paddy Power offering 10/3 .though the double of Celtic to Win (2/11) and Killie Draw (5/1) pays over 6/1 so might be a better option.
Then again it would be just my luck for Killie to get a late winner and mess that bet up.
