Battered Bunnet – the article was none of those things – it was/ is superb and deserves a wider audience than CQN – I hope you are pushing to get it one! I am sure others will.
This is the type of thing that the MSM if they genuinely want to survive need to start picking up and seeking authors permission to use.
Attacking team line up today. No striker on the bench though – strange to have Commons and McCourt but no font man. Suppose Sami will go into the centre if required.

i don’t believe that an Atlantic league will ever happen
for me such a set-up would require at least 32 clubs to make up two divisions16 on of (how would that be decided). it would become arguable one of the best league in the world
a league that has celtic, ranger (maybe), ajax, PSV, anderlech, club brugg, rosenburgh, gothenburgh etc… chasing the championship would be massive, particularly with the added t.v money.
but thats why it will never happen because it would change the land scope of football forever and the big clubs from big nations don’t want it.
same reason celtic will never play in the EPL, its called fear!!!
think is can the big clubs from smaller nations continue to go down the road they are on right now?

Outstanding. For the benefit of outsiders I would also clarify the sporting context. The main depredations of TFoD were in response to a resurgent Celtic under Martin O’Neill and Gordon Strachan’s three in a row. They just couldnt “bear” being second best.
A very well-balanced line-up, with each player paired up well. Rogne and Mulgrew is, in my view, a far more effective central defence, not so much for conceding goals, but for the passing Mulgrew offers (CB is also his best position imo). Matthews and Forrest on the right is great, and Samaras on the left means James will spend most of his time on the right/cutting in, while the Greek and the Welshman down the left is our most devastating combination.
My only worry is, oddly enough, Stokes and Hooper, as I don’t think Stokes is right for Dundee Utd – hope I’m wrong, and his MOTM game v Aberdeen suggests I might well be.
Of the players, Wanyama had a superb game last time at Tannadice – expect him to put in another outstanding show. Sammi and Brown also very important today. Very surprised not to see Ki at least on the bench.

TBB. A quality piece on Weerapeepil. A lot of us will be using it as a reference from now on.
The fact that the other 10 SPL members are discussing theirs and Celtic’s future without Celtic should be proof enough to all Celtic supporters that the old bigotries and all things that hate Celtic are alive and well and zombie like in Scotland. I don’t accept that its just teams fighting for their very existence and that “one” would do the same in such a situation. If so their main benefactor should be involved and a contender. To continue with the SPL 10 is to continue the Scottish football divide. I am surprised at St. Mirren, Hibs and Dundee Utd.
67Heaven … I am Neil Lennon..!!..Truth and Justice will always prevail
Looking forward to the game today and although I’d love a win of any description, I’ll be happy to leave Dundee with the treble dream still on, a draw will do with no injuries to key players.
Mon the Hoops!

For those who asked, all of the figures noted in the piece are extracted from the Annual Reports published by Rangers from 1988 to date.
