ASTANA’S star stiker Patrick Twumasi has told Celtic’s Champions League rivals: “Let me go!”

The Kazakhstan champions, preparing for their first leg at Parkhead a week tonight, have been rocked by the demands of the player who is considered to be their top performer.

Twumasi has claimed three goals in helping his team reach this stage of Europe’s elite tournament.

Turkish giants Bursaspor have spent most of the summer in pursuit of the frontman who is valued at £3million.

The 23-year-old attacker said: “I want to play for Bursaspor. I have made that clear.

“But it is entirely down to the club if and when they sell me because I am under contract until 2019.”

Twumasi has netted nine goals in 14 starts for Astana this season.
