CELTIC will face Astana, of Kazakhstan, in the Champions League play-off round following today’s draw in Nyon, Switzerland.
The sides met last season in the third qualifying round, with the Hoops going through 3-2 on aggregate.
The first leg of the play-off tie is scheduled for August 15/16, with the return leg the following week.
Dates are still to be finalised.
So far, Brendan Rodgers’ men have already overcome Irish side Linfield, winning 6-0 on aggregate, and Norway’s Rosenborg, with James Forrest scoring the only goal of the tie in Trondheim on Wednesday night to give the Hoops a 1-0 aggregate win.
