Very late night last night, with limited internet (and back in the water this morning for another three dives), so haven’t had the chance to read back, or to email you. But for now, I just wanted to thank you for extending such hospitality to Dan from Milan and Waheeda yesterday. I have only had a brief moment to check my emails, but so far there were 4 from Dan raving about you guys, the game and Celtic generally!!!
I am not surprised, but still in awe, of the kindness of Tims everywhere, and certainly those on CQN! I know Dan said he met so many nice people, so I hope that, in my haste, I don’t miss or offend anyone, but for now I really did want to thank St. Stirs and VFR.
And I hope you guys enjoyed meeting Dan and Waheeda as well, as, based on their emails, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if you managed to convert them to the path of Celtic and CQN!
Will reach out to you guys later, but for now A big Hail hail and Thank you!!!

Auld Tam, that sounds like cracking day you had yesterday.
The not the view chap was Average Joe Miller.
There are tweets on the etims and celtic underground feeds from Joe while he was in Be’er Sheva.
The only Average thing about Joe is his nickname. He is a really good guy.
He is very pally with Paul Larkin who has written a few books about his experiences supporting us and made the excellent Asterisk Years documentary about David Murray’s connection’s with the Edinburgh Establishment and the power they have.

Big cup winners , although Darryl Murphy wasn’t a success with us, his penalty taking was good and scored a stoatir of a goal against Dundee United at Celtic Park.
Like most ex Celtic players, I wish him well in his career.
My son and I now have the joy of going to Larkhall as his team have a game there.

Thanks to all of you and anyone else who has posted info/links on Grace. This is a beautiful song and I have tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat having listened to Jim McCann’s version and that of the Wolfe Tones. I’ll try to find other versions as well.
It is the appreciation and singing of songs like this that sets the Celtic support apart. I hope that the Green Brigade keep singing it and it becomes part of the repertoire of our wider support like Fields of Athenry. Can you imagine 60000 Celtic supporters singing this on a European night with the TV cameras in attendance?
A powerful, powerful song.

Agree with most of the posters regards our midfield . I also posted weeks ago ,I wasn’t keen on Broony and nir in the same team . We are in a good financial position . Repairing that weak midfield should be a priority . My only concern is that Broony is un droppable . That may sound hard ,as he has been a god send to the hoops and the heart of a lion . But IMHO he is now older ,slower and prone to more injuries , and is getting caught out more for pace . Again IMHO nir is to slow on the ball , and his distribution s very poor . If we intend attacking with pace we won’t do t with nir in the team , I’m sorry to say . A right back is also a must ,as again great servant as he is , mikel has had one injury too many . The bulk of a very good side is there , a bit of tweaking still very much required .

Btw, I’m not going to reveal my source but, I recall at the end of the TB(RIP) era that, TB had asked Fergus to retain the Maestro and, P. Grant to pass on they’re experience to the new players who would be coming in.
Im’ told that Fergus’s reply was along the lines of – “What eperience will these 2 players pass on – how to get into the ring with Rangers FC, 14 times and win twice ?….I think not!”
A SENIOR SNP politician has defended accepting hospitality from one of the most ultra-Unionist groups in Scotland – the Orange Order.
David Stocks, leader of the SNP opposition on North Lanarkshire Council, attended the Order’s annual awards ceremony, known as the Orange Oscars, it has emerged.
He said he had enjoyed attending, “being a Christian”.
TWO men have been arrested following complaints about sectarian songs by Rangers fans during the match with Kilmarnock on Friday.
BT Sport, which broadcast the match live, received complaints from armchair fans with one describing a “high level of sectarian singing” during the game at Rugby Park which ended in 1-1 draw.
Police Scotland confirmed that two men aged 22 and 23 were arrested in connection with alleged offences contrary to the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act.
