Just back from my young nephew’s house. He phoned me to come down for a word
Seems his mate was subject to some polis attention today on the way back from the game, on his way to carntyne train station. 6 cops, one 17 year old boy. Searched, detailed, questioned, terrified, scarred, humiliated, shattered. Awful experience for the kid.

I never seen any contact for the Tierney penalty, not that it wasn’t but if not then this was exactly why most teams claim we get all the decisions, a penalty we did not need but the ref consciously gave it to perpetuate the myth that we get all the decisions.

This is as worrying as it is enraging. It would take a pretty considerable amount of surveillance, organisation and resource to make this happen. While all the while police Scotland lack the wherewithal to conduct ‘normal’ policing across our communities.
Perhaps this is worthy of a formal complaint to the PIRC? An imperfect organisation with which to hold the police to account, but all we’ve got right now.

Looks like it could be a fine day. Time will tell.
A few random thoughts on yesterday’s game. Dundee Und are in a sorry stater. They have gone backwards- does this reflect the game in Scotland? I fear so. Thompson yesterday was dire at the beginning of the game and gave us a very soft penalty when we were 2 up. More of these things even themselves up over the season nonsense? I fear so. That banner was so correct but will it have any effect on either the polis or the SNP? I fear not.
