We have to listen to plenty of negative propaganda without resorting to ourselves. The keeper made a good save and Forrest’s penalty wasn’t the worst taken.
Decent performance against a good team.

Charlie Gallagher and Tommy Callaghan and others were very good footballers of that time. Cannot remember them being heckled from home crowd. I do remember Bobby Murdoch getting pelters from The Jungle.
I’m with NeganonX and blame the board for us losing to Partick Thistle in that league cup Final 40 something years ago. Manager Stein had nothing to do with it.

Yes Dom Sullivan.
Definitely, he was given the blame for everything. Even when he wasn’t playing, the malcontents of their day, gave Dom the blame.

I thought Telfer was crap initially, but he ended up a solid reliable defender. Excellent against Man United, if I recall correctly.

There are plenty at Celtic Park.
Then there are gutless, couldnae care less players who weren’t up to it in games where it really mattered. In CL qualifiers,Europa League games and games against Ross County and Sevco.

I played the game at a decent level and coached at UEFA B. I dont blame any supporter for not being able to see a player. They mean well without having a scooby.
Take Forrest, all the ability but no baws. A coward of a player who cant overcome his inefficiencies.
Izzy? has no strength in his legs to deliver a decent baw. Has had time enough to sort this out. Too much praying not enough weights.

Efe, mibbee if Toure comes in. Let’s wait on that.
Izzy was a fine player before his ankle injury. Since then, he is a shadow of his former self; rarely now does he go past the defender on the outside and deliver a telling cross.
Forrest is a former one trick pony who now does not have the heart to properly compete or to deliver any end product. A disinterested chicken heart. Punt him right away!
I would have thot that Izzy had plenty strength in his legs, how would he keep over hitting crosses if he didn’t :-)
