  1. RD on our CL dumping….“I think it was harder last year because I didn’t have control of anything (last season).”

    What??????

Is this some kind of bad joke?

This guy is saying that it’s easier to take a whipping this year because he is in control.

    SACK THIS GUY IMMEDIATELY.

  2. Celticrollercoaster supporting Shay, our bhoy wonder along the way on

I am not sure how the constant merry go round policy helps us progress. Delighted we won today. First 20 mins was very low key and a reaction to the Malmo performance. Green Brigade told the truth IMO.

  3. I think Ronny will do just fine.

Collins is a pureist, Kennedy is an inexperienced coach.

Maybe if Ronny had a No.2 like Davie Hay or Roy Aitken, then the basics might be right.

Could be a very young back line though

    Janko 19, Simonuvic 21, Boyata 24 & Blackett 21

Boyata at 24 with less than 30 first team games, so experience an issue ?

Do like what I read on Simonuvic though

    Hail Hail

  5. I think everybody – fans, club, players underestimated Malmo.

After the 2-0 start at CP, they had as much of the game as us. Easy to say now but that 95th minute goal probably swung the tie their way.

What I found strange was that I remember them putting FC Deadco in 2011 ( a 1-1 draw at home) and the atmosphere then was nothing like it was on Tuesday night.

I wonder if Boyata needs an auld heid?

Let’s see what that back four brings, could be interesting, Janko did OK in Malmo and today, so high hopes for him.

You mean like Paul67 bad mouthing Abba etc, It’s the Celtic way everyone else is a minnow when we are really the minnow

Don’t call them Rangers because they’re not the same team as the one which died in 2012.They are a Newco. As I was informed by one of their fans “they are a 3 year old company which bought a 142 year old company making them 145 years old.”

  9. The GB shot themselfs in the foot today. The arrogance of youth I can allow but that today was a shamefull disgrace.

  10. Even Lennon trusted the likes of Mulgrew defensively….. Then there was Braga, and Utrecht….

Then Mjallby drafted in Daniel Mastroiviec….

U know what, I would accept another Daniel Mastorievic right now….it’s exactly what we need.

Just someone with experience at the back. Someone to communicate and organise.

  11. I didn’t get home from work until 2:30pm, finished yesterday at 5:30pm!

So didn’t get to today’s game.

I’ve spent a fair amount of time mulling over Tuesday nights events.

I think one of the reasons it hurt was I expected more from our team.

From what I had seen at CP against Malmo we were the better team.

That is making it a toughie to get past.

    The performance was woeful.

But today we won, so the rehabilitation begins.

Good to hear wee Hugo is on the mend:-)

  12. Think I’ve said this before, but for me Jancko simply needs first team experience. He has all the raw ingredients. Pace, power, stamina….. Needs confidence I think…. As against Malmo he was too deliberate in what he was doing.

Have faith in ur pace. Knock it by them and expose them, as you are quicker. He just needs to understand this.

Ajax & Fenerbache euro also rans ?

Away and take a look at yourself, not sure if your interested in the Brisbane Roar or Queen of the South, also rans, like Lazio, Liverpoool, Dortmund and many more ya clown !

  14. Not always a fan of some of the things that the GB do but today was fine by me!

Tuesday was a disgrace and any player or coach who thinks they don’t deserve criticism shouldn’t be taking a wage off us – after all the vast bulk of their wages come from the support!

What was more embarrassing was Ronnie doing the “roar” thing at the end – having overcome the might of St J.!

  15. Cowiebhoy…

Just saw docs post, glad your dug is sorted.

Bloody cat of mines is constantly battling with the magpies, he’s more or less cleared the culdesac of them.

He’s out for hire on Caesarthethemagpiekiller.com :) night.

  16. Watching man city v Watford highlights. How close is the ref’s top to man city’s strip?

Ridiculous, or is it my tele?

  17. Theglasgowcelticway

You were very badly informed then, not surprisingly from a Sevconian. Green bought the assets of the liquidated club from Duff & Phelps to form Sevco, he didn’t buy the club. The club and company were incorporated in 1899, so can’t be separated out to suit their same club pish.

That’s why I’m making an issue of the word ‘back’ in association with the possibility of Sevco winning promotion this season. In general, I might add, not with you personally. You can’t go back to a place you’ve never been, in their Clumpany’s case, the top tier of Scottish football.

We went top of the league today, we have a good young team and Ronny is a good manager, we were mince the other night but could be a wee blessing in disguise, if Ronny gets us to the knockout stages of the EL, I would look on that as progress, not fussed about trebles, BUT definitely want a Scotiish cup win ! (Just because growing up Celtic win the last game of the season)

  19. Bhoys, thanks for the many good wishes for wee Hugo (Shug the Dug)

It was good news today that the new swelling was only fluid ?

    But ( there’s always a but :-))

More important our thoughts are with KevJ, TCR and Olivia, and I’m sure there are many others in more need

    Hail Hail

“we have a good young team and Ronny is a good manager” I hope you’re right, I have my doubts.

  21. Brisbane…

Maybe you didn’t hear the full comments from RD in response to questions?

The portion you use is highly selective and not representative at all.
