WITS – Thanks – I always suspected that about the preponderance of replays in big GAA games.
Interestingly, the odds of a draw were 11 to 1 – one of those bets it’s easy to be wise about.
In rugby, where the score can be more lopsided due to tries, penalties, conversions etc, the odds of a draw in a big game are 25 to 1.
However, the forthcoming WC will throw up some seriously tight low scoring games so a draw might not be a bad bet.

It is generally accepted that the Celtic board are downsizing by selling off our prize assets and replacing with cheaper duds.
Would you swap any of the following?
C Gordon for F Forster?
VVD for K Wilson ?
Wanyama or KSYung for Biton, Armstrong or Johansen?
Griffiths for Hooper?
Mostly not IMO.

Auldheid,
I admire the great work you have done in a painstaking manner. However if the Celtic CEO was party to the 5 way agreement ( which he almost certainly was ) he is not going to help you expose the cheating. He is playing to the galleries regarding Res 12. However I urge you to continue the good fight — only don’t belive one word coming from Lawwell.
Regarding a split in the support, I don’t believe there is one. Every Celtic supporter I meet is completely hacked off at the Club for the CL failures. The only matter up for debate is whether they blame Lawwell, Ronny or the players. Of course there are those who live in a parallel universe where it is 25th May 1967 Groundhog Day.
The common denominator in the shambles is Lawwell. TRFC next season represent his saviour. He will be praying we meet them in the League Cup.
How can you expect him to help you with the resolution …when it is against his interests.
Obviously I know you will be gutted about Tuesday in your opinion should Ronny be given time ?
Only asking as I know you will tell me exactly what you think, by the way I think the EL is our level although would love to be in the CL

For all Griffiths effort, goals et al, the only player who has enhanced us is Gordon; think he has better passing and communication skills that Fraz.
I’d go so far to say Gordon is (nearly) the best passer of a ball at the club.

I don’t know if it’s about giving him time to be honest. He’s never convinced me that he has the ability to adapt and change tactics when he needs to. Aye he was massively let down by his players in Malmö but in my opinion if you’re 2-0 up after 10 minutes in a 2 legged tie you should go through.
The problem is if Ronny is replaced are we going to be able to entice anyone better?

Seriously though the ridiculous fee being mentioned can’t be accurate but if we do sign this guy. I hope he’s better than the opinion expressed by some of the Zargreb fans. They don’t seem to rate him at all?
Could be the legacy of the ref strike is still lingering on, every 60-40 that we should get goes against us, Dallas has a lot to answer for.

Celtic’s ÂŁ2.8m bid for Jozo Simunovic, Lawwell wanted a straight deal, Croatians wanted 40% sell on, Celtic’s last play is 25% sell on
Seems more realistic.
