Celtic played well to a point yesterday. We dominated the opening period but Hearts steadied and worked their way into the game. The old adage proved true; when you’re on top, you need to score. Unfortunately we couldn’t make the early pressure count.
I think it was coincidental that our period of domination ended around the time Stuart Armstrong was taken off injured. Stuart was not having such an overarching impact on the game, and James Forrest was an able replacement.
The goals eventually came from midfield, leaving us to defend a lead for the last 20 minutes. There’s not much you can do about Hearts added-time equaliser, which soared into the top corner, but our play in the final 10 minutes of the game was inviting the sucker punch. We couldn’t retain possession, often clearing the ball long, which allowed Hearts to launch forward again.
I wasn’t too concerned about the equaliser but we we’re going to lose late goals if we cannot retain possession.

Paul67…….you not watching the game?
Slack from Hibs..
Hibs now doing a Hibs.
Any bookings for going into the crowd?
Just seen a replay of McGinn going down in the Huns box, definite trip
gsu
Hibs looking very deflated Stubbs got a job on his hands to pick them if not Huns will score a few more
Mon the Hibees!
What channel is the game on?
HH!!
Nye Bevans’, what game?
Not keeping possession is a coaching issue or we have players incapable of carrying out instruction.
Paul67….. Heard you on the radio post European exit and you said that the next few games were critical for Ronnie’s survival. Has he done enough?
Huns commentating, huns in the snyde studio !!!
I wouldn’t live back in that hun shytehole with someone else’s money -))))
Watching the game on BT Sport 1. The huns deserve their lead. Come on the HiBees
Paul67…..we have a young loanee playing
today, thought you might have tuned in to
see how he is progressing.
A clear free kick denied to Hibs Huns go up park and score
Liam H doing well as is young McGinn
My immediate feeling was that Hibs should have had a penalty but replay shows it was outside the box. Madden didn’t give anything and Rangers score from the resultant break…

How do you work that out? McGinn clearly fouled just outside the box ………….Madden……………….play on FFS
Cultbhoy,
I have seen you advocating Alan Stubbs a few times on here.
As this is his first managerial job in a lower standard league, what are his crediantials to manage Celtic, apart from the fact he is an ex player?
Not a dig by the way, just curious.
HH.
When Louis van Gaal arrived at Barcelona in 1997, having managed Holland’s biggest team Ajax for the previous six years, it was supposed to be as the club’s youth coordinator. But he was soon asked to take over as manager as Bobby Robson was shuffled into an ambassadorial role because of poor league form.
Hmmm as someone on here would say.
Season ticket holder Baldie Madhun officiating at the Bigotdome.
That’ll be okay then.
Eurochamps67

Green Piñata
No dig taken amigo…
Yes he is an ex player and more than that a good ex player who I believe always comments favourably on the Celtic . He resists opportunities to sell out like many ex players.
His win ratio at Hibs is 65% – much better than Deila in in his previous club.
However despite Stubbs only being a no1 since 2014 – he has been a no2 at Everton and a successful coach at reserve level since 2008.he was pipped by Martinex when Moyes left.
I also think he is a WINNER.
He holds no fear of Rangers and has even been bullish enough to wind up Warburton Houston etc. he’s not easily intimidated.
I think he and Henke would be a golden ticket. Not sure what Henke would offer in the dugout but I think he is so adored by the fans he would fill seats.
One thing is for certain he’d be better than Deila.
“Billy Boys, Sad fenian B£$%”%” belts out with impunity
Liam Henderson seriously does Lee Wallace at Ibrox.
Takes a yellow.
Kenny Miller…
What came first his blistering pace or his bad touch?
McCall tells the viewers that it’s the hour mark
and Mark likes to make changes…….hun boss’s
and second name’s don’t go.
Very entertaining game yesterday and great atmosphere. Celts played quite well especially in first half hour. Four well taken goals and some crunching tackles and Craig Gordon had to make more crucial saves. Celts did well to get a point here and looking like the race for the title will be tight. Another good game on BT at the moment. Huge crowd at Ibrox.
Not seen much from McGinn that would add anything different to our team no worse no better
NYE BEVANS’ REBEL SOLDIER on 28TH DECEMBER 2015 4:13 PM
Thank goodness they will fold before next August
Mcgeoch gets pushed to the ground Madden ignores it . McCall comments ‘that’s what you get from Eaghirn – team player’
Hibs imploding
Game over,as I said Hibs even though they
took a lead never really believed.
All over at iPox time to change the channel
Hibs badly coached !
Dear Santa,
Was is too much to ask for?……a win for the hoops and hibees, or are you bobby madhun in disguise.
Cultsbhoy
Thanks for that and I can see some merit in it. It is refreshing to see realistic names being put in the frame.
I fear though that his relative lack of experience, especially in the European sphere would be used against him by the ” instant success” gang.
I still think that RD Et al should be given a bit more time, just the same as I would give Alan Stubbs a bit more time: but would others ?
Re Henrik: I would hate to see a real legend’s memory get tarnished if it went pear shaped. Maybe in the future, but imo it’s too soon.
Hail, Hail.
Ps : Huns well on top at Greyskull.
