So we face 2 of the richest teams in global football and a good Bundesliga team that qualified with a 9-2 aggregate win against a Swiss team.
Realistically, we’ll do well to avoid finishing with zero points. Lots for Brendan to think about.
Think it would be a good shout for BR to play the colts in our league fixture before the Barca away game .

Out of interest (clutching at straws) – had a wee look to see if Premier League or La Liga fixtures (see below) might have some bearing on the Group/ our ties against Barca an Man City.
CL week 1:
We play the promoted mob – City away to the Neighbours.
Barca home to Alaves (w/end after away to Leganes).
CL week 2:
City away to Swansea (w/end after away to Spurs).
Barca away to S. Gijon (w/end after away to C. Vigo).
CL week 3:
City home to Everton.
Barca home to Deportivo LaC (w/end after away to Sevilla).
CL week 4:
City away to WBA.
Barca home to Granada (w/end after away to R. Sociedad).
CL week 5:
City away to C. Palace.
Barca home to Malaga (w/end after away to Valencia)
CL week 6:
City home to Chelsea (w/end after away to Leicester).
Barca home to Real Madrid (w/end after away to Osasuna).
One would be forgiven for thinking La Liga go out of their way to give Barca home fixtures (5) before CL mid-week ties and their difficult league fixture @week 6 (by which time they’ve qualified).
Wonder what Pep’s take will be on this (familiar with the way La Liga works) and City’s fixture list – 4/5 EPL games against top sides?
A slim chance for 1 or 3 points in one of our 4 games against them?

there are 2 fixes for the draw i just dont agree with.
the top eight league winners should not be in pot 1. it should be the top eight co=efficient.
teams from same countries should not be kept apart. thats just to appease the big 4 nations, and increase their chances to progress,
after that, the pots should simple be co=effiients.
i did my own mini re draw based on that, cos i am boring and celtic got =
barcelona, man city and borussia munchen glad back
