CIFTCI SEES RED

0
NADIR CIFTCI’S nightmare season continued yesterday when he was sent off in Eskisenirspor’s 3-2 win over Antalyspor.
The Celtic striker, on loan with the Turkish outfit until the end of the season, was red-carded after picking up two bookings – ONE minute apart.
Ciftci was ordered off six minutes from time after coming on as a substitute at the start of the second-half.
He was yellow-carded for a foul in the 83rd minute and within 60 seconds went in heavily on the goalkeeper which warranted another booking and instant dismissal.
Last week he was substituted after only 34 minutes of his debut as he struggled to settle into his new team.
Cftci joined the Hoops from Dundee United in a £1.3million deal in July, but managed to score only four goals in 22 appearances before being allowed to move to Turkey in a temporary move.
