COMMONS’ COMEBACK CHANCE

CELTIC midfielder Kris Commons could make a shock comeback in tomorrow night’s Champions League qualifier against Qararbag.
The experienced European campaigner has been out of action in recent weeks after breaking a toe in a freak accident at home.
He was forced to watch the home and away wins over Iceland’s Stjarnan in the previous stage from the sidelines.
His return will give boss Ronny Deila options in attack as the Hoops look to take a lead to Azerbaijan for the second leg next week.

Charlie Mulgrew will be given a late fitness check after he suffered a leg knock during the 2-0 victory over French outfit Rennes in the pre-season friendly at the weekend.

Emilio Izaguirre is likely to return at left-back should the Scotland defender miss out, while Mikael Lustig will take over the other full-back role. And Deila must also decide whether to start in attack with new signing Nadir Ciftci or Leigh Griffiths, who came on and scored in the 4-1 win at Stjarnan last week.
