CONFIRMED: MOOY, JENZ, GIAKOUMAKIS ON STAND-BY

NEW Bhoys Aaron Mooy and Moritz Jenz will start on the substitutes’ bench when Celtic take on Norwich City at Parkhead this afternoon.

The Australian international playmaker and the German central defender agreed deals at the champions during the week and will get their first taste of their new home ground against the Championship side before the Premiership kicks off against Aberdeen at the same venue a week tomorrow.

Greek striker Giorgos Giakoumakis, who was given compassionate time off to attend the birth of his daughter and missed the the last two friendlies, is back and is also on stand-by duty.

The meeting with the Carrow Road side will be Ange Postecoglou’s outfit’s sixth warm-up encounter following wins over Austrian Third Division team Weiner Viking (7-0) and the Czech Republic’s Banik Ostrava (4-2) and draws against Rapid Vienna (3-3), Blackburn Rovers (2-2) and Legia Warsaw (2-2).
