CQN’s Man of the Match in today’s League Cup Final victory over Dundee United is Celtic skipper Scott Brown.
Scott received 24% of the votes cast narrowly beating Anthony Stokes into second place. The Irish international got 21% of the votes cast by Celtic supporters on www.cqnmagazine.com
Third place in the voting went to Stefan Johansen (20%) although the Norwegian midfielder had better luck in winning the official sponsors Man of the Match award at Hampden this afternoon.
Nir Bitton, who is having a wonderful season for Celtic, gained 14% of the vote and was followed by Dutch centre half Virgil van Dijk (6%), goalscorer Kris Commons (5%) and Denayer and Izaguirre both on 3%.
