DEMBELE FIT FOR TITLE PARTY

MOUSSA DEMBELE is poised to make a quickfire comeback after missing the 2-1 defeat at Hibs at the weekend.

The French Under-21 international striker sustained an injury during his powerful performance in the 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final rout of Sevco Rangers the previous week.

Dembele, though, is on course to return to the frontline when the Ibrox side visit Parkhead on Sunday as Brendan Rodgers’ men prepare to celebrate their seventh successive Premiership triumph.

Having started 13 of the Hoops’ previous 14 games before being forced to miss out at Easter Road, the frontman will be available to face Graeme Murty’s outfit as he hopes to extend his goalscoring run against the Govan team.

SPOT ON…Moussa Dembele chips in his penalty-kick for Celtic’s third goal in the 4-0 hammering of Sevco.

He marked his first appearance in this fixture with a stunning hatr-trick when the champions walloped their Glasgow neighbours 5-1 at Parkhead at the start of last season.

Dembele also claimed the last-minute winner in the League Cup semi-final and blitzed in another in the 2-1 Hogmanay triumph at Ibrox.

He was on target again in last month’s 3-2 success at the same venue and the energetic raider made it seven goals in eight appearances against them when he dinked in a penalty-kick at Hampden eight days ago.

Leigh Griffiths stepped in as his replacement in Edinburgh, but is still waiting for the two goals that will take him to his Hoops century.
