  1. Brown was excellent today.

Also Craig obviously got the message and worked on his distribution as it was first class.

So happy the Simo deal fell through as he is really starting to play.

Perplexed by the decline of Paddy as he looks tentative and nervous.Has he been told to concentrate on being a team player and this has reduced his potency?

  2. High time Celtic won…………by a goal to nll.

Consumately professional win, where we needn’t rely on the number of goals scored but a solidity of the goal we took.

Supreme selection from Brendan where he already knows what his squad players provide, and he doesn’t need to test them at the expense of his first choice securing 3 points.

  3. What is the Stars on

I Think Chris Sutton should be the guest of honour at the opening ceremony for Almores Green and White Peoples Cafe at Celtic Park

    Love him

  4. MACJAY1 FOR NEIL LENNON on 1ST OCTOBER 2016 2:18 PM

I concur. He won’t let the apologists like Craigen off with anything!

    Opinionated, maybe, but absolutely honest!

  5. Most of the players will get a chance to recover for a fortnight.

Then it’s 3 games in 8 days all in Glasgow.

Motherwell, Borussia, and the dead team.

  6. Brilliant result after Wednesday’s exertions, well done Celtic.

Hope all the hootaneers enjoy their gathering. Sorry I’m missing it but only a wee drive back to Piper Dam for a walk in the woods followed by a couple of afternoon pints.

    Up the Celts.

  7. Melbourne Mick on

Hello again all you young rebels.

A good three pointer after a midweek supershow, that will

do me just fine, these are the type of games you tend to

drop points, so job well done

    COWIEBHOY

    Welcome home,did you miss us?

    H.H Mick

Oh ! and a cafe for ALMORE.

Oh ! and a wee Celtic shoppe for Melbourne

Oh ! and ROD to sing GRACE.

    Thats me sorted.

  8. TET agree it makes a change from craigan hun type punditry we’ve been subjected to for years ,a breath of fresh air

  9. WITS

I’m boycotting unless you change name to Almore Green .White.Black ,Red and Brown Peoples Cafe.

All though i,m not totally all inclusive by wanting no Orange.

Those sunbed and fake tanned Glaswegians are going to be disappointed.

  10. Big man is ace, First truthful pundit on the tv. He has no agenda and calls it as he see’s it, Not through fear from his masters.

Go get em big guy. Both men are the same at punditry as they were as players.

  11. Till later all

Half two and the points are in the bag, today is a good day :))))))))

  12. Haven`t seen the game so cannot give any worthwhile comment. I did see , though, that once again we committed many more fouls than the opposition even though we had near to 70% possession. That , I am guessing, is pretty normal for games Celtic play in Scotland. Does the same thing happen in our European games? Does it happen to other teams in Scotland who dominate possession?

  13. Competent performance, three points and a clean sheet.

Perfectly happy with that after Wednesday’s exertions.

F*** the international break, but at least some of the players will get a well-earned rest.

    HH the hootenanniers!

  14. Sviatchenko looks very decent as well, now fit

Melbourne Mick – enjoyed thanks Bhud

    Hail hail

  15. Gordon Dalziel slaughtering The Twat and Ned Garner on Radio Clyde. He said to Keevins that there is “no way in the world” The Rangers will win the league.

Garner is very ordinary and not worth the money – he said Celtic got Griffiths and Dembele for the same money!

Warburton doesn’t know his best 11 and has reverted to his Championship winning team: “What does that tell you about his signings?”

    Hilarious.

  16. Only caught the second half, you could see one would be enough. Hartley had his players ready, blocking shots, breaking up the play and plugging up the middle.

Even though he did not have a lot of work I thought Gordon looked much more into the game today, I guess the arrival of Doris has made a difference in his outlook.

Take a well deserved win and move on

  17. Clyde now brand Sevco as duplicitous for their statement on the Scottish Cup debacle: they knew the SFA couldn’t punish anyone because they voted against the proposal to allow the SFA to put it in place!

  18. Bayern at home to Koln having the same problems as we do.

Lots of possession but no goals after 35 minutes.

  19. Finally get a pundit who is prepared to call it as it is and some find fault…shakes head in disbelief….

Maybe he is opinionated but I would rather he was opi ionated and putting monkeys back in their box. Don’t think some can forgive him for calling out Ronny. He was right.

Only Sutton, Spence and Stewart prepared to call it as it is.

    More power to their elbow

  20. Supporters bus overturned on the way to Ibrox; I know a lot of their supporters are objectionable but let’s hope there are no fatalities or serious injuries.

  21. Wonderful performance from Scott today as he dominated midfield, drove play forward and of course scored the winning goal.

I wonder how much of his improvement is down to withdraw from Scotland games and be able to recover from the inevitable knocks and bruises he picks up in the course of a match.

  22. CORKCELT, re: your earlier post, I must admit I was one who was starting to write Lustig off. I wrote after the Hapoel Be’er Shiva game that I thought it was a season too far for him.

I am extremely happy that he is currently making me eat my words! He played very well on Wednesday and looks back to his best. We will see if BR agrees because his contract is up at the end of this season.

Scott Brown ,IMO, is playing the best football of his career right now. At Celtic Park, I have made him MotM on every occasion. I am happy to see it go to others but it is quite obvious that Broonie is at the centre of everything we do on the pitch. I wonder if Mike in Toronto sees Scott in a different light now?
