FEE AGREED FOR PJ CROSSAN

0

CELTIC and Dunfermline have agreed a fee for 17-year-old striker Paul ‘PJ’ Crossan that Celtic rate as the most promising teenager in Scotland outside the young players already at the club.

The Fifers were desperate to keep hold of the highly-rated forward, but the Hoops pressed ahead in their pursuit to add the youngster to their development ranks.

After three offers were knocked back, it looked as though the matter would have to be resolved by a tribunal.

Crossan is out of contract, but the Championship new boys would still be entitled to a fee given his age.

However, the situation has been resolved with a deal in place said to be worth a potential six-figure fee including add-ons.

All that remains is for Crossan to agree personal terms with the Hoops, but that appears to be a formality.
