GERMAN No.1 MAY MISS CELTIC CLASHES

1

BAYERN MUNICH’S star keeper Manuel Neuer could be struggling to face Celtic in next month’s Champions League double-header.

The German international No.1 has suffered another foot injury during training and there are now fears the Bundesliga giants could travel for the crunch confrontation on October 18 without their World Cup-winning star.

He could also be ruled out for the return on October 31 in Munich.

The shotstopper suffered a hairline fracture in March and required a minor operation to correct the issue.

Now there are reports the 31-year-old has again broken his foot.

That would leave Neuer facing an extended period on the sidelines after he limped out of a training session.

The Hoops’ next European opponents Anderlecht, in Brussels a week tomorrow, are currently without a manager after Rene Weiler was sacked yesterday.
