Green Sevco 5088 phantom resignation

83

Rangers International chief executive, Charles Green, speaking to the PLC’s official website, yesterday referred to a conversation he had with Craig Whyte before Rangers attempt to survive via a CVA finally failed in June last year.

Green said “In a discussion with Mr Whyte, who taped some conversations, I am alleged to have said: ‘You are Sevco, that’s what we are saying”.

“This is correct but at that point I had signed a resignation letter and a stock transfer form because it was decided that a Scottish company should buy a Scottish institution. Sevco 5088 wasn’t required.”

A check at Companies House reveals that if Mr Green signed a resignation letter it may have remained in his pocket. Far from resigning from Sevco 5088 “at that point”, Mr Green, as sole director of Sevco 5088, signed a Striking Off Application for the company on 27th December 2012, a week after the Initial Public Offering of Rangers International PLC closed.  It is possible that Mr Green is still a director of Sevco 5088 as Companies House has not published his resignation yet.

I am sure this is an innocent oversight by Mr Green and that a fuller account of the facts will occur to him in time for an imminent clarification to the stock market, which would be prudent.

If I have one gripe with Neil,it is his unwillingness to give our kids experience.

Shoooorly there is space for that, given he is not under the same pressure for results as is usually the case.

  4. Really impressed with reports of the turnout today, great stuff. Now to the small matter of winning the league. COYBIG.

Be quicker by carrier pigeon-even if it only warbled the message,it would make more sense too!

  7. Green has lied so brazenly, so openly, so regularly and with so much contempt for anyone who contradicts him that it can only be a matter of time before he leaves or is forced out.

  8. bmcup,

One feels obliged to issue an apology, lest the Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation Authorities pounce.

  9. I live in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary Greenside. Just see the Herald is saying that about 1500 from demo had an illegal March up as far as Gallowgate, bringing traffic to a halt etc.

  10. corkcelt,

I have an aunt from Tipperary,

But I had a mate from Cork who was living here in Canada for some time and went back for a short while but is back in a different part of Canada now, Harrington family, just curious if you knew the name

  13. Yep Greenside, know the name well, there are quite a few Harrington families in Cork. I’m only about 45/50 minutes drive from Cork City all of both my wife & myself’s family live there and we go down there frequently.

  15. Good afternoon from a warmer, praise The Lord, Nordrhein Westfalen. Just back from 10 days in the UK, Devon and Wiltshire, with very sporadic Internet connection. I see that it has been a very quiet 10 days during my absence ;-) here’s hoping for a title win today as an early birthday present, tomorrow. I believe it is also Sparkleghirl’s birthday tomorrow, if I remember correctly, as well as one or two other CQN’rs. So if there are any CQN’rs with a birthday today I hope you get the present you wish for. Ps if any of you like the Chinese beer Tsingtao, get yourself down to Morrison’s £1.50 for a 640ml bottle, a very tasty little number IMHO.

    Enjoy today everybody.

A mate of mine underwent chemo a coupla years back.

Difficult time for him-breast cancer-but right as rain since.

I was walking by a dry cleaner at 3 a.m., and it said “Sorry, we’re closed.” You don’t have to be sorry. It’s 3 a.m., and you’re a dry cleaner. It would be ridiculous for me to expect you to be open. I’m not gonna walk by at 10 a.m. and say, “Hey, I walked by at 3, you guys were closed. Someone owes me an apology. This jacket would be halfway done!”

I’m truly sorry we never got the chance to meet up for some craic, and now I have to be so very careful, living virtually in isolation to avoid infection, and I’m exhausted a lot of the time, but, all things being equal, in a few months, once the chemo is ended I’l be able to be more outgoingly sociable.

I cannae wait to get back to Celtic Park.

That would lift me no end.

Hope all is well with you and yer mayhem quotient is equitable!
