you mentioned this morning about getting abuse re the 2 goals from long ago .if you care 2 check you will find CELTIC won that league by 16 points i think.
so it was hardly a season changer.
*naw we didnae, we won it by 2 points, this was due mainly to the huns losing to the sheep in their last game plus tying with Morton late in the season, although to be fair we had a 23 GD.
Seemingly after THAT game in January there was a team meeting where Jock said every game HAD to be won. Which we did, League that is, only losing to the Pars in the SC at Parkheid.

I just don’t think he’s the right person for the job he was supposed to do,much less the one he has awarded himself. He may well have had the CV for the former, certainly not the latter.

Those of you who are fascinated by news of the whereabouts of Dermot Desmond and who believe his presence or absence influences football results, will be delighted to learn that he finished joint 18th, partnered by a Spanish Professional, in the Dunhill today.

This is the worst Celtic side that I can remember since the Lou Macari / Brady era’s.
I have been a supporter of PL and DD ,but this have to make changes.
Deila and Collins are out of there depth.
The signings we make are mind blowing .
We have wasted so much money it is frightening.
The scouts need shot.
What was the point of Ciftci.?
John Kennedy is too inexperienced to be our defensive coach.
The whole thing is a feckin bad joke.
Young ,inexperienced, badly coached ,defenders will no one of any great experience on the park to take them through a match.
Boyata looked like he had shit his pants today.
Then I look at Blackett and he looked like he was ready to vomit with worry.
Then Janko froze whenever he was given the ball.
My favourite player at the club is Kris Commons.
What the feck has happened to him under Ronnies tutelage ?
James ( one good game in ten ) Forrest .
I could go through the whole squad.
We are utterly pish in comparison to some of the sides that we have had over the last 15 years.
It breaks my heart.

*we both lost 1 apiece, ours tae them who only had 10 men and were the first side to beat the reigning European Champions, Dynamo Kiev followed that 4 days later.
A further point was dropped at home against St Johnstone 3 days after that. Thank donald duck there was no CQN in days or the “Jock out movement” would have been in full cry.
After that we went on a nice wee run scoring goals for fun until we dropped another point in December at home to our old nemesis the arabs.
We were the form team even after Kiev and Montevideo so THAT game was crucial as they were still 2 points ahead. We pummelled them that day and a Chopper pile driver 12 minutes from time looked like putting us back on top.
Didnae happen though and that was the last point we dropped, all 3 draws were at home tae.
I met JF years later in a department store in Vegas and he was a lovely man, nae pretensions about him, Mrs. TT was highly impressed.

Hello again all you young rebels.
Well we won ugly, wish i had a Aussie dollar every time we done that on
our road to 9 in a row, another new defensive formation trying to find
cohesion but we prevailed, feeling a bit nostalgic with a wee hauf in my
hand watching the game on Celtic t.v and seeing all those banners from
every part of Scotland and probably the whole world and everyone of
them brings back a special memory of my 60 odd years following the
best team on the planet, at the end of the day it’s not about the result
it’s about who you are and our faith in our team and fellow supporters.

Gerry. they drew 3 3. He scored his side’s second. a 25 yard curler into the top corner. I was well chuffed for him. it was their first point of the season. I only saw the second half but it was entertaining, played in a good spirit and no grief among the watching parents.

*now now your getting pedantic, I never said that, it’s my opinion that Big Billy cost us 2 European Cups, the same player also took us intae the semis in 67. But when you play for a team like ours some mistakes are highlighted more than others. I have no doubt JF celebrated as much as any other Celt did when their unbeaten run came tae an end that season.
I disagree re we are no further forward than this time last year.
We have virtually a new team, that takes time to settle, I reckon we would have lost both euro games last year.
And that jump for LG’s goal today, not many on the planet can do that.

A couple of observations : should we send some of our people to see how Hamilton Accies seem to get far more from their Academy than we do, despite spending much less.
Has VVD ever in Scotland been subject to such a blatant refereeing mistake as he endured yesterday. Talk about a stonewall penalty.

It strikes me that we were in a very difficult season we have lost 2 of the best Centre Backs seen at Paradise for many years and due to injuries we have been unable to play a settled back four. However, despite this we are only 1 point off the top of the SPL and are second in our Europa league group those shouting for Ronnys head are living in cloud cuckoo land we will improve as our injuries clear up.H.H.l
a) 2 consecutive years of failure to qualify for CL group stage
Evidence we are not in a catastrophic decline-
a)We are still in a good position to qualify in our Europa League group
b) We qualified from our Europa group last year and gave Inter a scare in the last 16 stage
c) It took a blatant bit of officiating to deny us a domestic treble last year
d) we are still in all 3 domestic competitions this year
I cannot escape the worrying sensation that our support are desperately missing the absence of an Ibrox club and cannot wait till normal business is resumed.

Playing for Celtic prepared him for such cheating. The ref had a clear view of it. Of course, Mourinho reckoned that the ref was biased against his lot.
