JONNY HAYES has thanked the Celtic fans – for ENTERTAINING him!
The £1.3million summer arrival from Aberdeen made his competitive home debut at a packed Parkhead when he came on as a substitute during the midweek 4-0 Champions League win over Linfield.
And the Republic of Ireland winger admitted it was an unforgettable experience, on and off the park.
Hayes said: “For a while I was caught up just looking at the crowd – it was quite entertaining.
“Being part of it rather than looking on from the outside was brilliant. It was a great atmosphere.
“It has been brilliant since signing. I am getting more and more comfortable around the place.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction, playing games straight away.”
