‘LET’S BE WIDE-BHOYS,’ LUSTIG

CELTIC defender Mikael Lustig has urged his team-mates to become wide Bhoys in an effort to get in behind Qarabag in Baku in the Champions League qualifying return on Wednesday.
The Hoops will take a 1-0 lead with them to Azerbaijan, but the Swede is well aware that it will be a testing 90 minutes for the SPFL champions.
Lustig said: “We didn’t create as many chances as we wanted in the first leg, but we got a really important goal and it was good to have a clean sheet.

“We are the better team. We had a lot of the ball, but we didn’t create so much. Against this team we should try to bomb on and get crosses and corners in because we are a lot bigger than them. Hopefully, we can do that over there.

“We watched videos and at home both their full-backs sit really high, so we will see what happens.”

The Swedish full-back, speaking on Celtic TV, added: “We wanted more goals, of course, but it is nice to have the clean sheet.
“Can we go there and score one goal? If so, they would then need three to beat us. It’s a case of ‘so far, so good’ for us at the moment.”
