MIGHTY MOUSSA PLANS ANOTHER FUN ‘SKELPING

MOUSSA DEMBELE insists he wants to do better than the hat-trick he scored against Sevco Rangers in the landslide 5-1 triumph in September.

The 20-year-old French striker rattled three behind Wes Foderingham as the Hoops ran amok and he was on the scoresheet, too, in the 1-0 League Cup semi-final win and the 2-1 Hogmanay victory at Ibrox.

Dembele, who lifted the February Player of the Month award, is extremely confident of putting the Ibrox side to the sword in another midday massacre in the east end of Glasgow.

He said: “I hope it is going to be even more than three.

“For me, when I go on the pitch, I try to do my best to help the team get three points. If I can score it is great, if not it is good to help the team get three points.

“I could have scored more in September. If I scored three then I could score five.

“But I still wouldn’t be happy because I had scored five. I just have to take it game by game and get ready for Sunday.

“First of all, we have to get three points. Obviously, if we can score more goals then we will do it, but the three points are the most important.

”I have had some good performances this season so I can’t really look and say which one was the best.

“But that was the day when my Celtic really took off. It all started from that day, so I will always remember it.”

There has been interest from Europe’s top-flight clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munch and the 32-goal hitman added: “It feels great because it means I am not doing bad, I think.

“I just have to keep going and training hard.

“If people talk about a change in price tags or whatever, it means we have done a great job – myself and the club. We just need to keep going forward.

“Am I worth £40million? You tell me. I don’t know. A price is a price. I can’t tell you I’m worth £40 million or £50 million or £30 million or £20 million. I just concentrate on my game.”
