    The second in particular was a complete joke. If that’s not cheating, what is?

     

     

    Also, Pearson’s tackle on Efe in the first half was a shocker. At least a yellow (and possibly a red) in every other league in Europe.

     

     

    RIP Howard Kendall. Always seemed like one of the good guys in Englandshire.

    A Curates Egg of a game. Good in parts but that final ball or touch which raises a game from ordinary to sublime was missing.

     

     

    I’d hated to have dropped any points today and some good performances.

     

     

    Refereeing has to become a service that SPFL can pick and choose to use as suits.

     

     

    The whole system needs to adopt this approach to remove much of the ills our game faces.

    Now if the SFA had any sense of respect and responsibilty along with a concern for improving our game, they should be announcing a change to how referrees are trained and assessed.

     

     

    That’s three penalties in two games we have been denied when Muir has been one of the officials .

     

     

    Bobby Madden gave two non penalties in two of the first games of ours he reffed.

     

     

    Ego , as well as other issues,is a big problem with refs especially their former leader, Dallas senior. Dallas junior looks like a chip off the old block.

     

     

    The SFA no doubt will hide behind the we don’t want to discourage people from being refs by openly criticising the officials. A definite get out for them.

     

     

    No chance of Clark or Dougal being asked in the papers about Muir’s performmance today. Its a real coincidence their opinion is normally asked for when a decision goes in ourfavour.

    Shoved a couple of quid on Sacrafacial (my Fleagle donkey) try my best not to punt during the day in case I start chasing I like my South American correct scores late tonight early tomorrow morning then I know I have got through another Saturday, my wee double today is Southampton & Crystal Palace (with both teams scoring) but Palace down to 10 men, had a decent wee win the other week 3 out of 4 on the correct scores 2-1, River Plate won 2-0, if they had won 2-1 it was silly money (£5 accie) showed the good lady “what we could have won” but at least she was happy with what we got

    Mocking the SFA won’t stop anything but being seen as always attacking the referees,even though we’re right,won’t either.As someone mentioned,watch the referees threaten strike action and then every bit of media will be delighted to turn on us. We face opposition in every aspect of society.Attack them and watch them manipulate the situation,mock them and hopefully mud will stick.

    So according to the official site nothing untoward happened re penalty incidents??????

     

    Problem is when this new team come up the blatant cheating will only get worse. Someone really needs to call them out now.

     

    There was a post on the other day about what Fergus MC Canns reaction might have been. I genuinely believe he would have called the Masonic cabal out a la Farrygate.

     

    Someone at Celtic needs to grow a set but I can’t see it happening given the silence on all of the other issues which impact upon the Club and the support.

    Another comment on the wee selfie lad. What if he had been a rabid Orc with a grudge against Stokes or Griffiths?

     

    Whatever we are paying these shysters who are paid to steward and police games it is obviously too much. The resource wasted on videoing fans should be better spent on training the stewards and on having cops around the park. I wonder how many were paid to study video footage to catch one daft wee boy?

    Even the match report has massively played down any significance in todays decision. How much reporting was there of the Caley lawyer proving the semi officials lied? He haw. Mock them all.Maybe we should take giant foam hands to any future games he is refereeing.

    Tontime Tim – good recollection. I thought long and hard about making a comparison with RH Davidson (Airdrie) because 50 years is a long time to hold a bad memory, but in my heart I really believe it was the most bigotted refereeing performance since those days.

    Argentina & Brazil…. 1/3 and 1/4 shots win 2-1, it’s easy pickings the hard part is getting the four on the same line….. I rarely bet on the normal coupon as they limit you, I try to lose my cash with the most choices available, the good lady just laughs at the stupid names I pick, thankfully she only lets me bet what we can afford, Mark Crosas old team Santos Laguna are sometimes a good shout for 2-1 (only at home)

    I don’t know why you are all criticising Brother Muir. I watched the game with my Masonic glasses on and I can say with absolute certainty that their were no legitimate penalty claims-:)

    Just read the Motherwell official site’s match report for today’s game.

     

     

    Kieran Kennedy appeared to handle the ball, appeared to . Dear oh dear.

     

     

    No mention of the same player brining down Broonie.

     

     

    Now if the ref had done his job properly, we would have had two penalties and the mothers would have been down to ten men with Kennedy yellow carded for each conceded penalty.

    Watched the game with 2 locals who are big into “saccur” here in Amurka. They are unaligned to any Scottish club and just wanted to catch the game.

     

     

    They were smacked of gob (or astounded of forehead) at the thuggery that was done to Efe Ambrose – twice with the ref seemingly unable to find his cards.

     

     

    They were literally speechless at the ineptitude of the officials failing to award two penalties to Celtic.

     

     

    One of them pointed out that the tackle on Scott Brown was exactly like the Pearson tackle on Efe, the M’well player taking out Scott’s trailing leg.

     

     

    I had not primed them beforehand on the standard of refereeing.

     

     

    They get it – even when they don’t know what it is that they get. Yet.

    Caught a bit of Sportscene results there.

     

     

    David Currie is presenting it with Cosgrove and Craig Paterson on it. They spent a few minutes talking about our game today . I’m glad I was sitting down, no mention of the penalty incidents nor the tackles on Efe.

     

     

    Talking of terrible refs from years ago, dishonourable mentions to J P R Gordon and Iain Foote.
