‘MY NEXT MOVE,’ ONYEKURU

1

CELTIC target Henry Onyekuru has admitted he WILL leave Belgian outfit Eupen this summer.

The Nigerian forward has been linked with the six-in-a-row champions since the January transfer window.

A reported £1million move for the pacy attacker failed to persuade his club to release the 19-year-old who has scored 12 goals in 25 games this season.

Onyekuru has mentioned there has been interest from the Hoops, but there have been no indications from Brendan Rodgers he will follow up initial interest.

The youngster could spark a bidding war at the end of the campaign. He said: “Clubs in England, Spain, Scotland and Germany have contacted me, but I’m focused on my game.

“We still have games to play before the season ends, as for now my aim is on the games ahead of me.

”I have made my decision to leave. I have already agreed with Eupen that I am joining my new club after this season.

“I want to take the next step and play abroad. My ultimate aim is to one day play in the Premier League.”
