SEVCO Rangers today confirmed the appointment of our Portuguese Brother Pedro Caixhina as their new manager on a three-year contract.
The Ibrox outfit, founded in 2012, agreed a deal with Qatari side Al Gharafa and the move was completed this afternoon.
However, Caixhina will NOT be in the Parkhead dug-out against Celtic tomorrow afternoon.
Caretaker manager Graeme ‘hand stand’ Murty will remain in charge for the encounter against the champions.
Caixhina said: “This club has a great history and tradition and I am proud to follow in the footsteps of legendary Rangers (sic) managers like Walter Smith, Graeme Souness and Jock Wallace.” Of course none of these men ever managed the club he has just joined.
The former club would have found it almost impossible to employ Our Brother due to their reigious discrimination and bigotry.
Ibrox Managing Director Stewart Robertson said: “We are delighted to welcome Pedro to Rangers (sic).
“We compiled a shortlist of high-quality candidates for the position, but we knew after our initial meeting with Pedro that he was the right man to take this club forward.
“He is a man of great experience and authority and the board has no doubt he will help us achieve our long-term goals.
“I would also like to thank Graeme Murty for taking control of the first team.
“He will complete his duties at Celtic Park on Sunday before returning to his role with the Under-20s and Pedro will begin his work on Monday morning.”
Last week a video emerged of our Brother Pedro wishing Celtic continued success in their quest for 10 in a row.
One ex-Rangers player, who is to remain nameless, told Gerry McCulloch of Super Scoreboard last week that as a result of this video the person at Aibrox who offered Brother Pedro the job should be sacked immediately.
The bigotry was seeping through.
As soon as Brother Pedro loses a few games then this video will be used to chase him out the Ibrox front door.
Dave King might even resign him without his knowledge.
