RODGERS 25 LENNON 24

NEIL LENNON led Celtic to 24 points in his 11 Premiership games since returning in February.

That is only one fewer than Brendan Rodgers managed over the same number at the start of the campaign that brought the Hoops their eighth successive title.

The 2-1 weekend win over Hearts at Parkhead was Lennon’s seventh victory with three ending in goalless draws and one defeat, the 2-1 loss at Ibrox the previous week.

The team scored 13 goals and conceded five as they completed the term nine points ahead of Steven Gerrard’s outfit.

Rodgers oversaw eight successes in his first 11 outings with one stalemate and two defeats, against Hearts at Tynecastle and Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

The new Leicester City gaffer watched his side claim 27 goals – more than DOUBLE Lennon’s total – with six lost.
