How about the Ross County player? Will he recieve a three game ban for diving, conning a pen & a red card? I fail to see the difference between what he did yesterday in comparison to Derk Bo’s dive at St Johnstone. In fact for me there was more contact on Bo than there was yesterday.

I said yesterday 90 mins before the game, if the referee calls the game properly then I don’t see us having any problem, I had a problem with yesterday’s officiating, blaming Efe? Predictable, blaming substitutions? Predictable, Slagging players? Predictable, RD fault? Predictable, PL fault? A predictable certainty, all this refereeing cock ups against has been happening long before, RD, and PL came it’s not new you know? Predictable amnesia, ……I hate criticising Celtic? Aye right, those who say that should REALY just criticise Celtic and come right out with it, the appolligise before the statement just don’t wash with me IMO, yesterday was just one of those days whe you knew the longer it went on it wasent going to be yours, no matter how hard our team tried we’ve been there many times, and will be again, I’ve been to 14 league cup finals in a row and and saw us winning six of them, no one was asking for anyone’s head? It happened, and the majority of those losses where all down to honest mistakes AGAIN, but when people on blogs, not just this one are asking for the managers head before the game? Whoever takes over has no chance of rebuilding without major investment,so even his cost-cutting has been a waste of money. And in my opinion,we’re too far down the road to turn this round without root and branch-and EXPENSIVE-rebuilding.

The red card for pulling down the player going through one on one with the goalkeeper was to stop the cynical professional foul.
Efe had absolutely NO intent to foul, cynical or otherwise.
WHENEVER, Mr. Thompson, gets the slightest opportunity to flash a red card at a Celtic player, he takes it with relish.
It wasn’t to be our day yesterday, we need to win by 2-3 goals to take the honest mistakes quotient out of the equation, it has forever been thus.

Can anyone show me actual footage of contact on the RC pen.? I’v yet to see it? Just because pundits on the telly say they THINK THERE WAS MINIMUM CONTACT DOESENT MEAN THERE WAS, and if that referee saw there was, and couldent see Gordon mauled to the ground on the second goal? Then it was a stone wall penalty, and no one laid a hand on Gordon at RC second goal? Wake up ffs, it was another stitch up.

Pen against Dons last year why no sending off and that was clear cut. Gary 67 showed it yesterday. It was ever thus. Some now think the rules are evenly applied. Wtf. Come off the crystal meth. Even compound it by saying Ref decisions don’t influence games. Delusional doesn’t even begin to describe it.
However not solely an excuse by no manner of means re our current standard of performance.

Efe caught the RC players knee with his knee it was a very soft penalty in my opinion it should not have been an ordering off as Gordon had the ball but it suited Thomson and of course we know how he dealt with it.. Also for the second goal I honestly think he would have to be blind not to see Gordon being man handled. I believe rightly or wrongly Thomson set out to do his best to try to ensure we did not win and he succeeded. H.H.

It reminded me of the final we lost to Killie. Stokes went down in the box under a challenge and there was contact. Pundits were saying there “was minimal contact” or there “wasn’t enough contact”

The current Norwegian Tv deal is worth £50m annually. That’s an average of around £3M for each of the 16 teams although I suspect like here it’s weighted towards the winners.
I think this just highlights what donkeys we have running the Scottish game.
