PAUL SCHOLES has paid tribute to Scott Brown’s contribution to Celtic and Scotland.
But the former Manchester United star questioned whether the Hoops skipper could make an impact in England.
Scholes believes we’ll never know how good Brown really is because he never had a crack at the top flight across the border.
He said: “Scott is in the right place. He’s a real leader.
“I’ve watched him over the years in the Celtic team, but it’s hard to gauge the level of the Scottish game compared to down here.
“Scott has had a fantastic career with Celtic. But could he have done the same with a big club down in England?
“I’m not sure he’d have had the same influence.”
