Incredible pieces of Celtic History that you could win
As you may already know, we have 2 Celtic tops (1 home and 1 away) signed by the last 11 Club Captains of Celtic Football Club spanning the past 53 years of our unbroken history, from Billy to Broony. These items have been professionally designed and framed, containing all the players’ relevant stats. These truly are two of a kind and are a once in a lifetime opportunity to be the proud owner of. The signing of the tops took us around 18 months to achieve and the journey and story behind this was amazing. We plan to share this story with you over the coming weeks.
We are also delighted to announce that the money raised from the Captains tops (and other special prizes) will not only support Shay but also the wonderful work of the Celtic FC Foundation.
This is our plan
The WalkWithShay Campaign is now fully registered with the Licensing Board to run lotteries (raffles); and we are planning to hold our 1st raffle where the First Prize will be the Away Club Captains top, together with many other great Celtic related prizes. The draw date for this raffle will be 25th May 2017 (no need to remind you of the significance of that date). We need help to sell our raffle tickets for £5 each and spread awareness before then. Yes, that’s right, you could win the Away top for just £5!!!! The Home top will be raffled/auctioned or sold at a later date.
This is where we need your help…
We’re looking for
67 Supporters Clubs / Groups / Associations / Online Communities/Businesses/Establishments or super Individuals to each sell up to 50 (Lisboa) tickets @£5 each
This will form our Green Battalion
and
67 individuals to sell up to 10 (IAR) tickets @ £5 each
This will form our White Battalion
You are of course all welcome to sell more or indeed a smaller quantity of tickets, if you so desire. Regardless of what you sell (or buy) we really appreciate your support.
We would like to have all our sellers registered before Monday 3rd April, which is when we plan to go live with the sale of our raffle tickets. There is a bit of work here to ensure we comply with our license, so please contact us now.
Please help us recruit by sharing our story with your family, friends and colleagues.
Will you Join Wee Shay’s Green Raffle Army?
Are you able and willing to help and support this amazing initiative? If so please email us at walkwithshay@yahoo.com or if you are on Twitter send us a direct message @walkwithshay we are also on Facebook.
Thanks for taking the time to read our update and we really hope you can support Shay and his young family.
Yours forever in Celtic and thank you for Walking with Shay.

TCR,
Hope ALWAYS,
Ye know.
I feel horrible anyone thinking I’m Kojo.
I coulldn’t ever lace his Boots.
Good Evenings folks
I hope as many as possible will try and win this amazing top for £5 and raise a fortune for Shay and The Celtic Foundation. There will be many more prizes as well and we will announce a prize list very soon. One thing that was important to us, was that one of the tops could be won for £5 rather than auctioned for highest amount. That was always our plan.
Thank you so much for all the replies to date, and I promise I will get to you over the weekend, in between family and Celtic duties. CQN is indeed a wonderful place.
We cut the following bit out of the article, but it is important for you all to know how well we have been doing to date, thanks to both the CQN and Celtic family.
Work to date
“The WalkWithShay campaign formalises the efforts by a group of Celtic fans and incredible support from CQN and other friends over the last two and a half years. Our aim is to continue to work alongside the Parents main campaign, with their blessing. To date, with the family, we have raised enough monies to cover the costs of the first two years of Shay’s specialist treatment. Since WWS was launched in October 2016, we have raised a further £6,000 which includes £1,015 from the latest CQN competition, Goals For Shay (Thanks Jobo!) and many, many kind contributions from CQNers and others, including proceeds from the sale of the wonderful Club Captains print, based on a drawing by CQNer, Thunder Road. Have you bought yours yet? Just wait to you see the Lisboa print coming v. soon!!!!
However, this young family still requires further help for additional years of treatment (dependent on progress) and necessary equipment to support Shay.”
Thank you fholks for your incredible support

Denmark, Norway have very good economies, Denmark is bitching about not having enough workers to fill their jobs since they are near full employment.
Ireland a few years back was buzzing, pity they had halfwits in power, it could and should have been one of te most prosperous countries on the planet.
Those who tell you Scotland can’t do it are fearmongering.
Or is the brit pound in your pocket all you care about ?
For me,Lustig is the biggest liability in the Celtic team just now.
Hopeless tackler,weaker than water,
continuously caught out at the back post ,woeful crosser of the the ball.
Diabolical athlete and before you all start being paid thousands of punds a week.
Get Gamboa in and try him

My uncle John Gleeson died in Cheltenham 10 years ago to the day. Sometimes some good feelings happen. Stuck a score on Sizing John for myself and a score for my daughter who is 25 today. The £320 lift fae Ladbrokes was nice for us both. :)

Bit harsh that on ML. I do like Gamboa though, he’s been unlucky to sit on the bench based on his last few performances.

I heard an interview this afternoon, Lydia Hislop from Racing UK and Michael O’Leary who own the Gigginstown Stud, his horse had just won the last race and he said he hadn’t a clue how it had won as it was rubbish the worst horse he owns, he was reminded it was the Cheltenham festival , I thought he was quite rude in that interview and what chance the punters when the owners have no idea, enjoyed the four days but lost a minor amount,
O’Leary proved what an ignorant pr… he is with his comments, you would never hear a real sportsman say what he did, a complete bellend of a man. My dream would be a Cheltenham runner, nearly made it this year but not quite good enough, every normal owner would be disgusted with his comments, very hun like in a lot of ways, smacks of entitlement.

Weather for St Patricks Day in coatbridge tomorrow is rain…..Patricia Ferns hasnt been singing the last few years…..me thinks the local constabulary didnt approve of her choice of songs….Father Sweeney supposedly a few years back asked the local orange order if they would like to join the festivities minus the drums and flutes….no way says they…..suppose its either the Bauns or nothing.

https://www.belasclubedecampo.pt/golf/?lang=en
Costs as per the mail / text / call you all received for green fee, shared buggies and club hire. Parisian Tim, yours are minus the sclaffbat hire.
I’ve still to organise pick up and drop off and our good friend Grafittionthewall has volunteered to assist with this as he has the inside track. Graff, I’ll be in touch, and thanks for stepping up.
There will be multiple competitions going on, on the day including:
Lowest gross score, highest gross score, lowest net score, best stableford, lowest fourball net, nearest pin’s and longest drives.
Unfortunately Celtic Football Club are not sponsoring this event (tight bastards), so prizes will be meagre. However, I have an exceptional prize courtesy of our very own Prince of the Emerald Isle, 16 Roads. Thanks for that J. I will donate a very special bottle to the cause and I’d encourage all participants to try to bring something as a prize and would ask the wider CQN community to rake about and see if you may have something to help out the Spirit of 67 Sclaffbaw day. If you do please drop me a mail at acgr@outlook.com.
In the spirit of Brother Walfrid and the Celtic ethos, we will also be trying to do our bit in raising funds for charity and will probably be harassing the assembled CQN pilgrims to dig deep for a good cause. More on this later.
Side betting and ripping the pish will both be actively encouraged and may actually be made compulsory on the day.
Would some kind CQN’r please repost this on the dayshift and on the next blog.

THE TIM REAPER,
Think he’s a woeful right back mate.
Not saying Gamboa is the answer either. We have to try him.

It’s pathetic watching it from a so-called professional.

Walk With Shay would be delighted to donate a framed Club Captains print for your competition. It would just need to be collected, which I am sure we can sort.
