JAPANESE striker Shin Yamada is on his way out at Celtic – after starting just one game.
The £1.5million summer signing from J-League outfit Kawaski Frontale was loaned to struggling Bundesliga 2 side Preussen Munster in January in an attempt to revive his career.
Yamada failed to score in his 11 appearances for the Hoops – and one start in the 3-0 win over Livingston at Parkhead in August – and has yet to register for the second-tier German club.
The 25-year-old misfit will be returned to Celtic at the end of the season, but there appears to be no future for the misfiring forward at Parkhead, according to a report in the Glasgow Times.

Yamada has failed to score in his five appearances at his current club and was an unused substitute in the 6-0 loss at Dinamo Dresden before dropping out of the squad before the 3-1 defeat to FC Magdeburg.
There is no chance of Preussen Munster activating the option to buy for the international frontman who is under contract at the Hoops until June 2029.
There will be a clear-out at the champions in the summer with Yamada among the list of unwanted stars heading for the exit.
