SPANISH top-flight side Celta Vigo plan to sell former Celtic loan striker John Guidetti for TWENTY MILLION POUNDS!
The Swedish frontman has agreed a five-year deal with the club after scoring 15 goals for the Hoops last season following his temporary move from Manchester City.
Celta beat off competition from Serie A giants Lazio and Torino, French outfit Marseille and Portuguese aces Sporting Lisbon to land Guidetti on a long-term contract.
However, the La Liga team have inserted a £20million sell-on clause in his deal and plan to sell him before the five years are completed.
Sports Director Miguel Torrecilla revealed: “The aim is that we will develop John and he will get to the next level. We hope to make money on the sale.”
Guidetti was introduced to thousands of Celta fans after signing and he admitted he can’t wait to get started with his new club.
He said: “I am very happy to be here. This is a very big chance for me to play in the best league in the world.”
