20p per share may be last exit chance on Rangers Mark II

There was never any doubt that Honest Dave King would be ordered to make an £11m offer to minority shareholders in Newco Rangers after an enforcement today by the Takeover Appeals Board.

King’s counsel claimed he was “penniless” and unable to make good on the offer, which is a legal requirement on any individual or individuals acting in concert, acquire 30% of a company. I initially considered it was unlikely that many shareholders would accept the 20p price, but the Sinking Ship Scenario is in play. This may be shareholders last chance to recover any investment in Rangers Mark II.

Of course, none of this would have happened if they stuck with the Easdales and Mike Ashley, or Charles Green and Mike Ashley, of anyone else who was able to employ a Nomad or attract tens of millions of pounds investment.  But glib and shameless Geppetto wanted control and he pulled all the right strings.

    Great news today, might be a long road but as many others have said any positive is a good thing, a great relief to an extent for your nearest & dearest, all the very best, I attended 10am mass at St Augustine’s today as it was end of term primary school mass (am rubbish at going every Sunday never mind during the week) but MissGFTB ordered me to go as I wasn’t working this week, my thoughts were with you & your family even though I have never met you, also was thinking of our own AoW who was attending his sister-in-laws funeral today, funny thing Cqn for me it’s great for Celtic stuff positive or negative but sometimes there are far more important things out there, anyhow Celtic the morra, I hope Aberdeen try and do a Hearts and press us, (Hearts only managed to keep that up because the 3rd goal gave them belief) because without being too complacent I think the better team always win in the end

    What took the judge so long to announce his decision re the takeover panel,when everyone knew what the outcome had to be.

     

     

    Was it good timing ?

     

     

    Could it be that king now has 30 days to comply before the cold shoulder is applied thus allowing them to try and navigate their way through the transfer window. Bring in MORE duds and try and get rid of Pedro’s duds without the cold shoulder being an impediment to their business dealings.

    sorry to cut in on the football talk. if mike in toronto is lurkin just took my two westies for a walk round our estate about an hour ago. suddenly 2 pit bull terriers off the lead attacked them i managed to pick one up the other one ran off. my arm is cut to feckin ribbons just wating on the ambulance luckily when i got back home the other westie had managed to run home called the police bhoys im absolutely traumatised.

    Don’t know what to expect from tomorrow’s game. We’ve looked jaded recently but delighted we’re on the road to two in a row since Wednesday night.

     

     

    Armstrong has not been the best this season but I thought he was very good when he came on last Sunday and his goal on Wednesday was pure class. First name on team sheet for me tomorrow.

    It’s that time of the year again, Christmas is almost upon us

     

    and a new year gets ever closer, thats when we tend to look

     

    back and assess our lives.

     

    CQN has brought hundreds of the Celtic family together over

     

    quite a few years from all over the world, we’ve shared all

     

    our troubles, recipes, opinions, everything, including sympathy

     

    and prayers for those less fortunate it’s what defines the

     

    Celtic family.

     

    If you remember last year PADDYMACOZ and myself ran a wee

     

    quiz for everyone and the prize was a Mornington Social Celts

     

    polo top which GEAROID won, this year everything being hectic

     

    we decided to have a player ( blogger ) of the year from CQN, it

     

    had to be a person who we felt contributed the most to the

     

    blog with their understanding of peoples emotions, tantrums,

     

    flounces , and being able to bring them back in to the forum

     

    once again, and apart from all that the person we have

     

    nominated ( step forward BMCUW ) is a really nice fella and a

     

    good human being, so our much sought after top is on it’s way

     

    to you as i type, well done Michael.

     

    Also i’d like to thank all of you or members of your family on

     

    behalf of our CSC here in Oz who gave us a visit last year and

     

    there were many, ( did EDDIEINKIRKMICHAEL get home yet? :-))

     

    And lastly i’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a

    PHILBHOY oMIKE IN TORONTO.hey ive just been patched up thanks for asking now gonna take frankie to the emergency vet in ellsmere port in cheshire he has some puncture wounds in his leg .unfortunately its 180 pounds out of hours but what do you do see your dog suffer no chance any way bhoys thanks for asking off out now to the vets.

    Two months to the day since my darling Jackie taken away from me, asking for thoughts and prayers on here turned into an avalanche especially when other posters lost family.
