CELTIC’S £2million misfit Marian Shved has joined Belgian club KV Mechelen on a season-long loan, subject to international clearance, accoring to the club website.
The 23-year-old winger signed in January 2019 from Ukrainian outfit Karpaty Lviv and was immediately loaned back for the rest of the season to help their title bid.
Shved made the first of three appearances for the Hoops at the start of last season, coming on as a substitute and scoring a spectacular late goal in the 2-0 win over Nomme Kalju in a Champions League qualifier in Estonia.
His last outing was a cameo role in the 3-0 Scottish Cup win over Clyde at Broadwood in the Scottish Cup in February.
Shved is the second Hoops star to join a Belgian side in a temporary switch this summer with versatile defender Jack Hendry already agreeing a term-long deal with KV Ostende.
